I stopped by Toscana last week for a wax and pedicure. The place is clean, tranquil and European-looking. I had an extremely through pedicure done by Christine. She also did a great job cleaning up my eyebrows. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating.

After reading a good review about Amazing WAXING job... I came and requested a wax done by Christine at the Spa. I could not agree more with the last post. This place is wonderful and very clean. Christine was very friendly, and she made me feel comfortable. I did not have my full leg waxed often enough because I was afraid of the pain. But Christine made it not only fast and painless but enjoyable too. Not a stray hair was to be found after she finished. I definitely plan going back more often, and highly recommend this place to everyone.

I went to Toscana for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. I absolutely loved it. I had a wax done by Christine. She did a great job and was very attentive. She did a full check over before moving on to the next area to make sure no strays were left behind. In addition to my usual wax areas, I also got my eyebrows done. Christine is a wizard at perfectly shaping eyebrows. She is also very pleasant and friendly, that I sometimes forget that I am there being waxed. I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out for yourselves. The place is so gorgeous. It has very beautiful decor, and the ambiance is spectacular. Cons: None

I went to Toscana for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. I absolutely loved it. I had a wax done by Christine. She did a great job and was very attentive. I have tried several salons in the area but none of them comparable to Toscana (recommended by my friend). This place was warm and relaxing. I have also found that most upscale salons can be very snobby, but the owner and staff at Toscana were total sweethearts. I really felt welcome here. I got a pedicure and manicure done by Christina. She did an amazing job. She took her time to give me the best massage and the the paraffin wax treatment. I really enjoyed it. I also have Christina waxed my eyebrows and they came out fabulous. I already made another appointment for my next visit to see Christina again. I have never written a review, but I really really love this place so I thought I had to share. Pros: Friendly and very experienced staff Cons: no parking

I found Doina by reading these reviews. I was looking for a good eyebrow waxer and facial provider. Having visited numerous "name" salons on Newbury St. and in Boston, I found Doina provided the best facial I'd ever had! When she recommended I might benefit from Eminence products, I had faith she was trying to help my skin not just sell me something for the sake of selling. They are organic and I love how the products work and feel. I highly recommend Doina at Toscana. Pros: friendly atmosphere, knowledgable staff

After years of razoring and dry cutting my hair it was looking like burned hay at the ends. I booked and appt with Troy at Toscana to get a trim and highlights. He cut it wet and shaped it dry and gave me warm caramel highlights to complement my dark hair. I also got a deep conditioning treatment by this french organic company called Rene Furterer. He actually listened and left my hair long and after it was said and done, it was so incredibly soft and full and most importantly healthy. I love my haircut so much. I'm only going back to Troy from now on. My hair has never looked better Pros: hair stylists listen to what you want and then do it

My boyfriend got me a gift certificate to Toscana for a facial with Doina after we came back from our vacation. I have to admit I did burn my face a little in Hawaii and I needed a calming treatment to even out my skin tone. Doina used this amazing Sothys facial and I walked away with totally even, flawless beautiful skin. She even gave me samples to take home and recommended what products I need without any sort of pressure to buy anything. I am so thrilled about Toscana and I loved meeting Doina. She is truly an expert in her field. I booked another one in 3 weeks!! Pros: Expertise, no nonsense advice, relaxing facial

I was visiting family from NJ for 2 weeks and needed to relax, after searching a few reviews I picked Toscana. I received an 1 hour massage that I needed so bad. I absolutely loved it and didn't want it to end, Kate was amazing. Even my husband came the next day to get a massage as well. When he went for his massage I didn't want to sit and wait so I got a facial by Doina who is terrific, she is friendly and very helpful. A few days later I went back to get my hair cut and highlighted by Troi and he is he best stylist I have ever met. Everyone has complimented my hair since. Doina gave me an organic facial and I bought all these products that I can't find now that I'm home. She promised to ship me anything I needed once I'm out of them and has been true to her word. No shipping and she's thrown in so many free goodies for me to try. I look forward to visiting family and Toscana again! Pros: Wonderful staff, very friendly

I had Doina for my first professional wax. I was scared it would be painful, but it was definitely manageable. Doina made me feel relaxed and did a great job. Believe it or not it was a good experience. I am going back next month for a Brazilian and I am not at all worried about it. Great place. Nice, clean, comfortable, professional. Definitely recommend. Pros: Wonderful staff, easy to find, LOVE IT!!! Cons: None
