I recently decided to pursue temporary or contractual work while making a career change from finance into sports industry to provide more flexibility in my schedule. The recruiters not only represent themselves to their clients in gaining business but you as well as a candidate. You would hope that the recruiters would be professional and knowledgeable both about the clients and the industries for which they are recruiting but that obviously is not the case here. The likelihood you would be placed versus a candidate from another temp agency is not high and even if placed the assumption would be that it would be in a company with a terrible environment or in a terrible role for the company to do business with Accountemps in the first place.
The receptionists were rude and abrasive. The Director of the Division with whom I spoke Scott Deneen was more that simply unprofessional, he was condescending and obnoxious.
As an alternative, try Randstad who's Finance & Accounting recruiters in Boston's financial district were by far more professional and knowledgeable about the job market and the industry.

I really like these cleaners on Mass Ave. They are friendly and affordable. There is also a discount for students.
The cleaners are really quick and honest. I had some winter clothing dry cleaned and they did a really good job. Boston winters are harsh! I highly recommend them.
There is only parking on the street and that is hard to get.

We used Beacon Hill Photography for our 8/03 wedding. Jim Hoopes does beautiful work. We had an extremely difficult time deciding between the 600+ photos he provided to include in our final album.
He also does professional photography (head shots) and although I have not used him for that, the photos I have seen are among the best professional head shots out there.
Excellent quality does not come cheap. Expect to pay for the quality you will receive, but you will not be disappointed!

If you live in the Boston area and wanted to bowl a few, this is the place I'd send you to. It's nothing fancy - but who wants fancy when it comes to bowling?! Rates are reasonable and it's open 24hours so you can play whenever the mood strikes. It can get crowded on weekend nights so be prepared for a possible wait.

Whether you go to Symphony Hall for a Boston Pops concert, or other performance, you can be assured that the acoustics of this hall are among the best in the world. The beautiful heavenly music often eminates from here during the Winter and Spring months when the orchestra is in season. Tickets can be expensive, but are well worth the value. This historic building is top notch and tours and staff are excellent as well. A Boston institution that should not be missed.
