I went to the JFK Museum for the first time last week. I thought the history and the presentation were very well done and thorough. It was a wonderful way to spend a cold winter day.

This is an incredible Presidential Library. I have been to quite a few, and this is certainly one of the best. There is something special about the library that you feel the moment you walk into the fabulous building set overlooking the water. Here you have one of Massachusetts' favorite son's revealed in a marvelous way. You have the chance to learn about JFK as well as his family and upbringing. There are some fabulous personal items of both the President and the first Lady on display. What a great resource not only for learning about one of our presidents, but for getting a deeper glimpse into one of the beloved and mysterious leaders of the times.

JFK is one of the most well-known names of all American presidents, so it's undoubted that there'd be a museum fully devoted to him. Being the national museum for JFK, it is a bit biased and fully worships him as the family man and perfect leader for our country, and completely turns a blind eye to the rumored scandals, which might have been cool to explore. The films chronicle his life pre-presidency, then his acts as president, such as the right to a physical education and the formation of the Peace Corps. These are little-known facts I liked to discover and admired JFK for doing.

Whether you are too young to know of this president or you are old enough to remember what he did for our nation, you WILL NOT be disappointed. This first class museum is complemented with its first class staff. Visitors should allow at least 4 hours to fully absorb this walk through exhibit and its short films that chronical JFK, his family and his personal and political endeavors. I suggest that visitors do not bring children under the 5th grade. Whether you are a New Englander or a visitor, this museum should be on your list of things to do.
Pros: thoroughness, attention to details
