The first time we went to Bonfire we were sitted at one of the small table close to the bar/grill. It's wasn't that romantic, but we really liked the food, and decided to come back, and ask specifically for the main dining room. We got it, and it was a totally different experinence ! You're sitted on these big royal chairs, in this quite dark place, and you feel like a medieval king/queen. The food was great the first time, and apparently even better the many times after, when we were in the main dining room. They have one of the best seared tunas in town, and the steaks are cooked to perfection, big and tasty, well worth a steak-house. We discovered the Grand Marnier flight, it's a great way to finish a wonderful meal. We love to take out-of-town friends here, they are always impressed.
Pros: ambiance, food

Two of my friends went to this place (one for lunch and the other for dinner) and they both LOVED it, so I had to try it out. It looks like a hole in the wall and there is seating outside and inside (like an old saloon) but my friend who went for dinner said it is a GREAT date place (candles and all, everything was very nice at night too) but I went for lunch. the food was AMAZING. Seriously, totally didn't expect a quick bite to eat to LITERALLY make me "mmm" with every bite! I had the Venezuelan corn sandwich (can't remember the name...) with shredded chicken and avocado, and my friend had a steak sandwich... and both of us were speechless! We also had fried plantains... seriously, try them, they are delic! So thumbs up for orinoco!
Pros: food, price, everything!
Cons: NONE.

Merengue Restaurant is not your ordinary Latino restaurant. You get to listen to great music while having a meal that if served in downtown will easily be priced three times its cost. Every little detail has been covered, wall pictures by well-known Dominican artists have been beautifully placed around the restaurant, and the interior design carries you to another country instantaneously. I tried the mofongo (mashed plantains) and the picadera once, and I came back to have the coconut fish, and then came back for a different dish the following weeks, not sure if it was for the entree or for the delicious tres leches they serve for dessert, but I remember myself eating hastily just to order one of those with a cup of cappuccino that will shame Starbucks in a second!
Highly recommended for all tastes! I promise you will find a plate of yo

This is going to be the best home show of the year! I have been to many different show and have never seen a line-up of award winning chef that are going to be putting on demonstrations. Chef Ming Tsai is amazing and I can not wait to see him in person!

The service is good however, there are a few employees who I don't take kindly to. An older woman was very rude to me but with the help of a very pleasant and extremely professional made my visit welcoming. When you go I believe the young man's name was Damien. Ask for him he is a Gem. A true asset to this establishment.
Pros: DAMIEN IS AN ASSET TO THE ESTABLISHMENT
Cons: not all of the staff is sociable
