The place has average service. If you are a pregnant woman, do not go here. Of course you do not want average. Although easy to get to, you would probably not get a good excel...

Expect to wait 9/3/2010

Currently sitting in the waiting room for routine OB appointment, and as usual we have some time to kill. The doctors and nurses here are nice, bright, and reassuring (it's a group practice model) but the office itself is terribly run. The wait is typically >30 mins for a 5-10 min visit. Scheduled appointment times are a complete joke. When you show up your name goes on a waiting list to be seen, first-come first-serve. Today they are "about 35 mins" behind. There are many secretaries so you'd think they could get this scheduling thing figured out or at least have the courtesy to call when running behind... but no. more

Medical Walk In 8/23/2005

If you are ever sick and you can't make an appointment to see your PCP, this is the place to go. Your wait will be much shorter than going to the emergency room. The service is friendly. It's just a little hidden and you'll have to ask people in the hospital where it is. more

Delivered #2 at MGH, liked it better than Brigham 8/4/2005

Had our first baby at Brigham and Women's but was not impressed with the whole experience. Decided to have our second child at MGH and would highly recommend them to anyone. The OB office was very organized (never had to wait long in the waiting room) there were specialists available if needed and the delivery and post-partum care was wonderful. Wish I had come here first. more

Allergy Department 7/25/2005

Even though Dr. Long is supposed to be one of the top-ranked allergists in Massachusetts, I was not impressed. He appears knowledgeable and impressive, but his bedside manner is very unsympathetic and, after several years of painful allergy shots, I got no results and experienced no relief. Check out your other options. more
