We tried this amazing little place for the first time, and we had a fantastic night which started with delicious red wine. You get the impression from the decor and general vibe that you really are in Spain, and the food is certainly delicious. We did an assortment of tapas plates and desserts and almost all of them were very good, particularly the Yellowfin tuna with citrus and soy. However, if you are a vegetarian, there are not a ton of choices if you don't eat fish.
Pros: Hot vibe, awesome wine, delicious food
Cons: They forgot to bring one of the things we ordered

Radius is the real deal. Located in the heart of Boston's Financial District, so around noon, the power lunches begin. At dinner, there are still some suits present (partially due to the after work bar scene).
Each table gets a bread basket with warm bread. The menu usually includes a selection of fish, shellfish, pork, beef, game and poultry, but there is most likely a vegetarian option. The presentations are artistic (with sauce swirl decorations). The portions are very small, which can be good because the desserts are amazing. There is a bar and very long wine list.
The service is subtle and top notch. The decor is full of wood and there is a stylish feel.
You can get the full menu at the bar tables. Dinner has a different feel since they turn down the lights and put candles on the tables for a more romantic feel.
The restaurant takes reservations and are necessary for lunch and dinner. Really, this restaurant is top notch. Dinner is perfect for a proposal.

Gorgeous and decadent. Waiters were top notch and looked like they stepped off your tv screen . Food was out of this world. The lump crab was delicious and the lobster omelette was incredible in taste and amount of lobster used. The entire menu was varied and enticing. Thumbs up this is a wonderful place.

My buddy and I chose this place to plan a surprise birthday for our wives, as both ladies turned 30.
Radius did an excellent job in making their evening special. The hostess was well prepared with a plan in place for the surprise and staff did a fine job coordinating everything.
We were a group of 8 with one kid. Everyone loved their entree. The appetizers, main course and dessert were consistently good. Unlike other high end restaurants, the staff was polite, friendly, and accommodating.
Will highly recommend for special occasions or even just a romantic night out.
Pros: consistently delicious food, warm welcoming staff
Cons: none

My wife and I spent an evening in Boston to celebrate her Birthday! We had been craving Italian in the North End, but since my wife was diagnosed with a wheat gluten intolerance/allergy (Celiac Disease) in the past year...the North End seemed like an impossibility until I read about NEBO.
We were astonished by the menu...a complete-full menu for gluten free dining in addition to the regular menu.
In order to share dishes we both ordered from the gluten free menu. We started with a to-die-for eggplant appetizer with mozzarella and tomato sauce...yum!
We then had the Pasta (yes gluten free pasta) with pancetta and onion...awesome...you would never guess you were eating gluten free!
We also split a fig and prociutto gluten free pizza...OUR FAVORITE PIZZA PERIOD! Yum! In a million years you will not believe it is gluten free.
We were so impressed with our server and Carla, one of the owner's was so caring and came over to chat with us several times about the menu and the restaurant. Her enthusiasm and the efforts of her team have truly paid off!
We couldn't reccommend a restaurant more highly...try it...you'll love it.
We will be back and bring our friends and family! Thank you again Carla!
Pros: Diverse Menu, Cool Atmosphere, Delicious Food
Cons: NONE!

Bacco is my favorite spot in the North End and I have been to most over the years. The food is absolutely to die for. Pair that with an incredable atmosphere and it's really hard to beat. I have tried most things on the menu and have yet to dislike anything. They have a great wine list but I usually stay with the red. It's warm, cozy, and makes you feel like your part of the North End charm!!!
Pros: Friendly, Warm, Great Atmosphere

I frequented Abe & Louie's on my last visit to Boston. The experience was fantastic! Great food, service and location -- and, most important, great times were had by all. Would definitely recco to anyone looking for a steakhouse dinner in Back Bay.

I've come here for a few my birthday dinners over the years and am never disappointed. Definitely the ambiance is representative of the South of France and I clearly remember the actual Mistral in Provence, that famous wind that sweeps through violently and often out of nowhere. This restaurant has the same sort of enchantment and allure of being in Southern France itself whatwith not only the shrubbery in pots around the room, but also with the gynormous photos of lavendar fiedls and other Provencal scenery hanging around the room. The high ceilings give you a great sense of vertical space and rising. For my special occasion, I had the Kir Royale, and escargot, and the catch of the day which was Red Snapper. For dessert the profiteroles were delectable, covered in not only yummo fudge sauce but also pistachios. My friends and I were well attended to and the service was 5-star. Would definitely go again for a special occasion and/ or to just sit up at the bar which has a lively and buzzing atmosphere separate from the dining room, with the shrubs acting as a natural and pretty noise / wall barrier.
Pros: South of France feel / 5-star service
Cons: a tad overpriced / portion sizes are a little small

There are so many great restaurants in the park Plaza area, but my fave is Finale. Its more of a dessert restaurant (which makes it so unique!) but they do have smaller entrees as well. Get the Peanut Butter Joy! its to die for!
