I purchased the Vessel Candella10 Lamp set at $400.00 - it comes with a one year warranty. I love the set, but had a problem with the lamp battery bursting (it happened to me twice). The first time it happened, Vessel was all over it - they replaced the defective lamp within 1 or 2 weeks. The second time it happened, however, Vessel customer service was no where to be found. It has been 5 months now since I reported my 2nd burst battery in the lamp. They will not return my phone messages (over 10) or reply to any of my emails (another 10+). I don't know what the problem is ... all I can say is KEEP AWAY, at least until they get their customer service act back together again.

One might never venture to the end of Kingston St where Vessel has a storefront, but one would surely miss out on this unique and quirky store. Vessel is full of home decoration tidbits that look like they belong to a modernist future era. They have rechargable candle lamps and other such cool gadgets. Though hidden by the Big Dig, this store is definitely a find.

Located inconvieniently on the end of Kingston Street (next to the Big Dig abyss of construction), Vessel is one of those easy stores to overlook, but is highly under-rated. They carry unique home goods and housewares- their specialty is small tabletop luminaires that are electric and rechargable. These provide candle-like glow and ambiance and are so unique- and at under $50 are priced right as well. The store itself has a sleek, modern feel and you'll feel as if you've stepped into the future when you visit.
PROS: Cool housewares
CONS: Inconvienient location
