My favorite drink in the world is iced tea. Usually, though, it's some lousy stuff that tastes stale or it's same old same old flavors everywhere. However, this is a dream come true -- a wide variety of iced tea (I like hot tea, too, but I don't know any other place to get a selection like this of iced). The prices are pretty decent, considering that it's Newbury St. Desserts are okay. I've never had otherfood there. I see that they occasionally have special tasting events or tea classes. I've never gone to those events, but they seem like a good idea. The staff is friendly and doesn't mind if you hang around.

This isn't some fancy high tea like you might find at the Ritz or Four Seasons. Instead, you'll find a huge selection of teas from around the world and a great sandwich menu. When I pair a quality darjeeling with a smoked salmon sandwich, I feel extremely satisfied and happy. This is a great place to hang out, especially during the summer when they have outdoor seating. Just sit still, sip your tea, and people watch.

It's moderately priced, and pretty good. Try the milan panini. Their salads and soups are pretty good too. They have a very large selection of tea. Seating is limited, so you may have to wait. It gets pretty crowded. Desserts are also yummy (although average). Service is OK depending on whether their are a lot of people.
