Irie is quite a find in little Bowdoin Street opposite St. Peter's Church. Great Jamaican food: plantains, rice and beans, ox tail, jerk chicken. Great patties of all sorts of flavours.
Good prices, very friendly service, great atmosphere!
And I have to recommend the spectacular Irie brand of carrot juice: 10/10
Pros: Friendly, good parking, Fun
Cons: food is addictive :-)

The service is good however, there are a few employees who I don't take kindly to. An older woman was very rude to me but with the help of a very pleasant and extremely professional made my visit welcoming. When you go I believe the young man's name was Damien. Ask for him he is a Gem. A true asset to this establishment.
Pros: DAMIEN IS AN ASSET TO THE ESTABLISHMENT
Cons: not all of the staff is sociable

I love caribbean food. Fritay is not the best haitian restaurant in Mass. Most people order takeouts. So oily. Don't eat there if you have a fragile stomach. You will get lots of heartburns.

This is a haitian restaurant. The name of this restaurant has been changed. It's no longer Fritay but Griyo Lakay. The place still looks the same, same as the other Fritay on Washington street. I am not sure if it's still the same management but I guess it's still the same food and atmosphere. The food and sauces are way too greasy stay away from that place if you don't want heartburns. Truereview here to tell you the truth.
