When some kids threw a pumpkin through our first floor window (a Halloween prank) we needed it repaired quickly since our alarm system is wired to the windows. Glass Medic was available right away and did the repairs from the back of their truck parked in front of the house. They did a great job and were friendly and professional as well. Hopefully we won't need them again, but I would not hesitate to call them if the need arises.

This company offers the most creative office solutions I have seen. They really have an eye on the modern office - integrating high end technology into the common pieces we are accustomed to seeing, in order to streamline the office. From my experiences, their prices are competitive. The next time I am in the market for office solutions, I am certainly going to give them a call.
I was very impressed with the office walls they have created, which are easily moveable if need be.
All around great, and stylish, products.
Highly recommended!

The Hampshire House is a beautiful historic mansion overlooking the Boston Common and Public Gardens. The space is currently used as function space. There are many unique options within the space, depending on your needs. I have used the space for company seminars (an old library with a fireplace and piano in the corner work perfectly for this type of event). I also used the space for a bridal tea prior to my wedding. Every function I have ever hosted at the Hampshire House has exceeded my expectations! The staff is wonderful and are very responsive. They make a point to let clients know they are appreciated all year long! Also, this function space is priced much more reasonably than competing function space (hotels, etc.) downtown.
I highly recommend

Take my advise purchase sandwiches, beverages etc. here before boarding the trains! Food was fresh, service was quick and efficient. They offer a variety of sandwiches from Bagels, wraps and panini's.
I used to work for this company during High school but unfortunately for me they do not have this franchise out in California so while visiting home I get my fill. We were taking the train out of South Station down to New York & rather than pay for mediocre food on Amtrak we opted to go to Au Bon Pain and all were very happy that we did.
Pros: large variety of menu, Service, location
Cons: not available n Calif

Don't go here. It is a small place and while they get a whole pig and lamb and butcher it themselves, and have assorted cuts of beef, the best stuff goes fast. I don't want to have to compete with any more customers for this outrageously delicious meat. Sure they always accommodate me when I call ahead but I enjoy the convenience of strolling in and seeing an array of organic meats to choose from. If you have not become accustomed to this level of meat, you don't know what you are missing anyway, so please stay away.

I attended a wedding on in October catered by Crazy Chefs and was floored! I have never been to a wedding or event handled so professionally. I am very good friends with the bride and she told me James was more than accomodating to work with and his staff was super friendly and professional. I highly recommend using Crazy Chefs and can't wait to use them myself!

I love good chocolates - too bad we don't have them usually in the US. :-)
I have a foodie friend that forced me to make a detour before dinner in the South End to this tiny chocolate shop.
These chocolates are so SO good. the salted caramel cocolates need to be eaten as one whole piece because the caramel is so liquid, in a good way. I had a moment with this chocolate. its that good. The other chocolates were good too, but since that was my first taste , that's what I'll remember. Yeah, they are ridiculously expensive, but, a small amount is worth it!

This place is by far the best Indian food in Boston. The prices are reasonable, portions are good and the food is tasty. I love the naan bread and mango lassi. My husband gets a different chicken dish every time and I get lamb. We always leave happy.

I LOVE this place. the scones are to die for, the danishes are yummy too. I was so excited to find this in my new area. I still haven't tried any soups, etc, but definitly plan to once the weather cools down. I tried geting some morning treats for my in laws when they were in town two weeks ago, but Greenhills was closed for a week. Very disappointing as my in laws were really looking forward to something from there. I guess I will have to deal with a repeat visit sometime soon!
