I took my car there once to get my inspection sticker done and they said my car didn't pass inspection because I have a blue coating on my reverse light bulbs. I spoke with the service reps and they giving me a bunch of excuse saying how i can't have blue color for tailight and I have explain to them it was just a blue coating the bulb itself when is in use is just pure white color. He won't even bothering listen to me and said I need to change them out if I want to pass inspection. At that point I ask to speak to manager. I explain to him my situation and he argue with me and pointed it out to me those bulbs look blue and is illegal. I said fine if you think is blue I prove it to you is not I park my car and put my car in reverse position and he was speechless after that. He told me to wait so he can check with his services guys. Five mins later he came back and said to me that I will need to change it out because it is illegal because the bulbs itself is blue. I ask for a refund and they say they can't because they already provided me a service. I had those bulbs for a long time and I never have any problem with any of the other dealers.

My experience was a night mare, they will not let you leave the show room till you buy one and they have all of this masterly planned trap-they broke me down when i finally agreed to buy a honda from them. They made me buy an insurance plan costing quite a bit-Its been 2-3 months since i bought the car guess what i have visited their repair room 4 or 5 times-guess what there horrible gimmic is the part is covered but the labour is not so which ended up costing me almost the same as fixing it at a simple garage where i usually do-By the way all the compliments you reed are there stafs and their people.I wish I had bought my car at a simpler agent where there was no pressure and no increadible overhed cost like herbs chember has,and of of course all that has to come from your and my pocket commen sense-
wish you luck.

I recommend not going to Herb Chambers to purchase a Honda. We were treated disrespectfully, given misinformation, and had to deal with long waits while at the dealership. Our actual experience appears below in greater detail.
We visited Herb Chambers with the intent of buying a used Honda Accord. At our initial visit, we were made to wait a total of 3 hours. In between looking briefly at cars and a quick test drive, the salesman attended other customers, talked with his supervisors, and made a single photocopy. Their service was incredibly inefficient.
After we selected a car we liked, we were offered a reduced price by a manager (down from the dealerships' initial price of 16,000 to 14, 000), however, when we attempted to negotiate based on external damages to the car, we were told negotiation was impossible, even after we showed the sales staff that the car was priced at 13,000 by the NADA. We were told by one staff person that the car was about to go on auction, and by another that the car had just arrived and wouldn't be auctioned off for another 30 days.
We needed a car immediately and decided to go ahead with it. The salesman responsible for bringing the car to our mechanic for an inspection was 45 minutes late, and when we indicated that he should have called, he replied by shouting (literally) "I'm not your slave!" and being incredibly hostile. We talked with his supervisor, who agreed to handle our paperwork from there on out, but who was unwilling to make the few affordable fixes to the car that our mechanic recommended, even after how we had been treated by the sales staff.
Don't go to Herb Chambers, you can do better.

This was the most horrible car shopping experiance ever. I went to look at a new Honda Pilot, first I wa sgiven a price over the phone that they said was wrong or I must have misunderstod and the car they said they had was not there. I wasted over 3 hours going back and fourth with the worst salesman ever, Jon. Don't know his last name but if you get a guy named Jon run away as fast as you can. The whole time I was waiting for the manager to come over he was on the phone harassing other customers to see if they were coming in to see him or refer business too while I was at his desk, un- real. Then he proceeds to tell me that he will have to cut his commission in half to sell me a car, I don't care. I walked out and as I walked out I was literally chased out the door and he would not let me leave. I finally was able to leave but not after appx 15+ phone calls and they are still calling me, do not go to this dealership, horrible They wasted my whole day experience. The sales manager was nice but out to make a buck.

Must have caught them at the right time every time. Never a problem. Service, sales and folks all near perfect 3 cars later.

bought a '03 honda accord salesman was nice enough; service department stunk! once I questioned the work being done on my car. Head of service dept., insulted me in front of service clerks. Before, I would get a phone call asking me how my service experience was..never heard from them again. Financing was a total ripoff! Later I found out that the car had "issues" Went to another dealer better everything! I will never do business with Mr. Chambers again!

Don't go.
this is the truth that I can tell you. They just don't know who is customer and who is dealer. Very rude and not reliable. I don't want to buy a car here never again.

We tried to buy a Honda from Herb Chambers. It was an absolute NIGHTMARE. We were quoted one price over the phone and when we arrived at the dealership to sign the papers, the price was suddenly much, much more money. We were told several stories about why over the course of the TWO HOURS we spent trying to buy a car: we were told the salesperson had made a mistake, we were told he thought we were asking about a different car, and then we were accused of LYING about the originally agreed-upon price.
As I've been reading online and talking to other people, our experience with Herb Chambers was no unusual: they will often make a "mistake" and try and charge you more for the car when you finally come in to buy. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS TRAP. FIND A REPUTABLE DEALER AND AVOID HERB CHAMBERS.

Hi, I went to Herb Chambers Honda to look for a Honda Accord. The time I went in I had the senior sales rep. He was extremely rude and very pushy. All questions were responded with vague answers. He said a 06 car with 40 thousand miles had good mileage. I checked the carfax report and the original owner had it for less than 10 months. THAT IS A LOT OF MILES. Negotiating with him was not pleasant. He was loud and interrupted what I and my wife had to say. I'm sure the other sales reps are much better but I am confused on how this man became the senior sales rep. I wasted my afternoon there.
