I love Whole Foods...Always have. I lived in Brookline and shopped at the one in Brighton. Now I live in the South End and walk to the one near Symphony.
Maybe my affection emanates from the deep seated feeling that what I have been eating at other places will be removed in my arteries one day. Then again, perhaps it is the array of healthy food that intrigues me. Even the chips seem healthy(I wish).
There is something also to be said for a company that cares about their employees, offers good service and has a selection of product that won't kill you....even if you have to pay a little more" Friend Quick Search

Jeff the plumber arived at our condo on time and was able to figure out that we needed to replace the hot water heater. He gave us a price and we scheduled a time to get the work done that day, he had all of the parts in his truck. I thought it was funny that he called his truck his rolling warehouse and it was true. LOL
Pros: On-time, professional

This place is by far the best Indian food in Boston. The prices are reasonable, portions are good and the food is tasty. I love the naan bread and mango lassi. My husband gets a different chicken dish every time and I get lamb. We always leave happy.

When I was a grad student a couple of years ago at Northeastern I would step across the street (literally) to the MFA on Wed nights (voluntary pay for admission). Been there at least 50 times. The Japanese swords and Egyptian artifacts are the best in the world outside of their native countries. The MFA sponsored several early 1900s digs in Egypt. Been around the globe since then and the masters paintings will rival any collection in the world such as the Louvre and Hermitage. Early america displays will blow your mind if your are into that period. This museum is massive, would say it took a solid 12 hours for the first once through. Parking is right next to building or street. And then you still want to come back....
Pros: Ambiance, collection, architecture
Cons: Huge building, street traffic

I went to get acupuncture at Copley Acupuncture about 6 months ago and it was the best decision I ever made. I have been suffering for years from migraines, low back pain and more recently vertigo and fatigue. After a couple of months of sessions, I am feeling like a new person. I wish I had tried this sooner rather than take the medications I have been on for the past 7 years. Marcy is extremely professional and very knowledgeable. Her office is very warm, welcoming and relaxing. I highly recommend her services.
Pros: Nice space, friendly, knowledgeable acupuncturist
Cons: Parking

Great classic dishes include Borscht soup and potato pancakes with applesauce. But Cafe Polonia also offers American basics like the Caesar salad. They have good service, but it can be crowded around holidays. The employees speak both English and Polish. Across the street is the European Baltic Cafe, which is a great little grocery store to pick up ingredients to cook the same Polish delicacies as Cafe Polonia.
Pros: Very good service.
Cons: Not enough seating.

We popped in this past Friday around 8:30 w/ no reservations, greeted cordially by the hostess who told us "there was 30 min. wait, but we could eat at the bar", and as she spoke a couple seats opened up so decided to go that route, glad we did. The bartenders, Tanya and Stephanie were great!! Gave us some excellent dinner suggestions, my wife went with the veal carrozzella and I opted for the guazzetto (mix of fresh seafood), couldn't have been happier!! Our friends stopped by and grabbed a pizza (a grilled shrimp scampi pizza) while we split a chocolate souffle, they loved the pizza.....we followed that with several "mean" martini's and stoli doli rounds and we ended up staying to 1!!! Staff was very friendly, casual atmosphere, bar got a little more energy as the night went on ( don't know if that was the drinks or the crowd, lol!) People were ordering meals as we were leaving at 1a.m. , believe the bar closes at 2 we are all looking forward to heading back soon...
