Here you can find great used and almost new books for a fraction of the cover price. You can also find rare, historic and out-of-print books. Located right acrossed the street from the popular Borders book store, the Antiquarian Book Seller has a clear advantage when it comes to customer service and first edition finds. This small basement shop is a literal treasure-trove of finds. The staff is super friendly and will help you find whatever it is you're looking for.

This little bookstore, near Downtown Crossing, is a great place to spend some time browsing and poking through their great selection of used and antique books. I always get sucked in by their $1 rack, which is up on street level. The selection on the $1 shelves is constantly changing, and I have found some great gems there. From the street, you walk down to the basement level and enter the little shop. It is floor to ceiling books! They have a nice selection of children’s books, and tons more. I tend to spend at least a half hour each time, browsing around and inhaling that gorgeous old book smell. They have beautiful antique books behind the counter. Next time you’re in DTC check it out!
