When researching places to visit, the draw to an Irish/Mexican restaurant seemed great, as if it was going to be a new experience.
Well the fries were the only "irish" item on the menu (they were the best part of the meal). The mexican items were typical fajitas and quesadillas...
The waitress had a major attitude problem. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Pros: Location
Cons: Variety

When Obama closes Guantanamo, this is where we should store its collection of America-hating terrorists. Geneva might call it torture, but Jose McIntyre's calls it Saturday night. The bouncers in this place were the most ridiculously inept losers I've ever seen. Imagine a bouncer. Now imagine him functionally retarded, and with the look of a guy that got out of prison as recently as that morning. That guy's their best bouncer. The cop they had keeping watch (I'm guessing he's on the take) was not much better. Always a good sign when a bar has to have police hang around on a regular basis. I guess I'm lucky I didn't end up with a shiv in my side or a brutal "encounter" in the men's room.
Speaking of getting bent over, $10 for well vodka and redbull that was mostly ice? Pathetic. The girls in our group couldn't walk five feet without being molested. Parts of the bar smell like someone knarfed. The music was OK but anybody with an iPod can play music. I didn't eat any food there. Aside from leaving, that was probably the best decision I made all night. I don't want to find out what Irish-Mexican fusion tastes like.
Plenty of other cooler places to go nearby....skip this hole.
Pros: You're free to leave, or to never show up in the first place.
Cons: Working as bouncers.

I had a friend in from out of town and took him to Jose McIntyre's (really?) on a Saturday night in January. His jacket went missing and so the bouncers decided to help out by physically picking him up without any provocation at all and throwing him into the street in 15-degree weather wearing nothing but a t-shirt. The bouncers are definitely those dudes that never outgrew picking on people in H.S...assuming they even went to H.S. at all.
Having my buddy thrown out for no reason whatsoever was a perfect end to a night that included expensive, watered down drinks, extremely bad food and terrible management overall. There's no occasion on earth that would bring me back to that place. If you go, don't bring a jacket...or any expectation of being treated well, either.
Pros: Music, TV's in the bathroom
Cons: Just about everything else, especially the bouncers.

I've been to a lot of bars in boston. This one by far has the most unfriendliest bouncers, bad food, and unattentive wait staff. The general manager was incredibly rude and would not even tell us his name after we told him he was being rude (it's brian--we found out from a staff member). The burgers were way overcooked. How do you mess up burgers?
And the singles scene? The singles scene is as good as the food. I guess if I have to say something good about them, the beer was cold....
Pros: beer is cold?
Cons: service, manager, bouncers, singles scene (or lack of)

First of all, the bouncers give you a lot of trouble just going in. Once you get in, its no better. Bartenders aren't hot, just slow and rude. Poor selection of beers and the food isn't very good, I don't know what everyone is talking about. Don't bother wasting your time there. Many other better bars close by! Don't go through what we did.
Pros: Food
Cons: Service, Parking, Atmosphere
