This place is tucked away near Huntington Ave opposite to the symphony. The food is wonderful. It's a fusion of south east asian and south american food. The place was packed with people. The inside decor is nice as well. Good customer service and good food. There is a veggie bar that you could use to customize your dish.
Pros: Good food and Good customer service
Cons: Could be packed for dinner

Before going to Douzo, we were big fans of sushi, but pretty much stuck to the basics. At Douzo, we ordered the Omakase (where the chef creates a plate of whatever he chooses) for $70 (to split). It was the best, melt in your mouth sushi we have ever had! The fish was incredibly fresh and we found ourselves loving the eel and their specialty rolls. The service was great both times we went with our server being kind enough to explain what everything on the platter was (repeatedly!!). We would recommend Douzo to anyone and, although we wouldn't mind trying another sushi restaurant in Boston, we can't force ourselves to stray from Douzo!!!
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing

Had a lot of fun here last night. Service was spectacular. They started us off with a delecious plum wine on the rocks special and it was de-lish.We ordered a variety of standard and signature rolls which were just amazing. I have to say the signature rolls are the way to go if you're tired of the same old sushi rolls and wanted to try something different go with the Maiya on Fire. They all had unique flavors that tasted delicious and the presentation was very nice.
Pros: best sushi in beantown
Cons: loud but I liked it

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my daughter's bat mitzvah at Mantra Restaurant. It was a fabulous experience in every regard. The food was great, the price reasonable (w/no hidden fees or surprises at the end!), the setting both elegant and uber-hip, the staff extremely professional but no less warm and friendly. They went the extra mile when I forgot to bring Chanukah candles and a staff member rushed out to find a box. If I could add a 6th star to the rating I'd do it in a New York minute.
Pros: food, staff, decore
Cons: none that I found....

This is it. This is the best Sushi in Boston. Fugakyu is also this good, but Fugakyu is big, expensive and crowded. If you eat dinner at Sakura Bana, you won't be disappointed. Lunch is more of a crowded affair as you'll compete with the business class. The only reservation is that the rice will taste ... different. I actually like it, but it is notably different. More vinegar less sugar perhaps? Sushi is perpetually fresh, perfectly sized, appropriately and consistently wasabied. I have tried all other boston sushi joints, and this is the one you want to go to. One of the few boston restaurants that could survive in NYC.
Pros: Sushi
Cons: Location

This restaurant offers fusion French-Cambodian cuisine. But don't be scared off by that! There are plenty of familiar dishes here. Some of the food resembles Thai. The restaurant isn't cheap, but it has a great atmosphere and excellent food. Their lunch menu is much cheaper, so if you're on a budget you might want to consider going at lunchtime. The service has is friendly and prompt.
PROS: Great food, exotic dishes, excellent service and atmosphere.
CONS: On the expensive side.
