The Charles River Street Antiques store has a large collection of impressive finds to meet the needs of the upscale Beacon Hill neighborhood it resides in. There are many expensive and rare finds here- some of which are better suited for a museum collector rather than outfitting your home. Definitely worth the trip if you're in the market for upscale goods and furniture- the goods here are antique but timeless.

I personally like the furniture at this place. The other things like the art work and pottery I don't really like. The furniture suits more of what I have in my home. They have a website that you can take a look at to see if there is anything that you like there, before going to the store. The staff is very friendly.

Jurys Hotel is located in the heart of Back Bay convienient to downtown shopping and area attractions like the Prudential Center, the Public Garden and Boston Common. The rooms here are first class- the very best amenities and service. They also have a very nice lounge and restaurant on the first floor as well which attracts the movers and shakers in the area as well as the upscale hotel guests. It is warm and cozy with chic decor and fabulous modern fireplace (great for winter time)

Like many of the Antique stores in Boston, this one is also very pricey. They have a very good selection. However, the staff is very rude and uptight. I would not go back there again because of the bad service. Other than that, if you can tolerate high prices and rude staff, I would go there . Otherwise, not.

Gumshoe has mysterious hours, but it's usually open on weekends for at least a few hours a day. The store is tiny and packed with vintage Levis, corduroy pants, jean jackets, and leather jackets. Men definitely are the winners here as, for once, most of the vintage stuff is for them. I know women who've gotten good cords here though, so it's worth a gander. Call first to make sure they're open if you're traveling.

Cadia vintage is located in the heart of Boston's North End. This is a great place to go for vintage clothing finds and accesories. On my last visit I found an excellent retro Chanel bag for about $100- a steal if you ask me. The owner of this store is Italian and super personable in an old school European kind of way. Excellent finds and service.

Judith Dowling Asian Arts is a a neat place to wander though. There is always interesting, though very expensive, as you might expect art to be appreciated. The staff are very friendly and interested in helping you out. I've alway enjoyed my visits to Judith Dowling Asian Art, though I've never bought anything in there.
