This store is one of the best in town. The staff has a fair amount of knowledge. However, most of them are fairly young, so they get frustrated with a too many question. The selection of products is fantastic. And if you don't see it, they can get it. I agree that it isn't the cleanest store that I've ever seen, but most all of the animals are healthy and well treated. They also have one of the best selections of fish in the whole town. Side-note: if you have a lot of questions, get a book on the subject. People are by nature, very opinionated and will share bias information. I know several people who have recieved bad info from a pet store.

I have been going to critter and company for a while and never been impressed it there. There is always something dead or rotting in the frog tank. The dogs they sell look like they came from the puppy mill and I do not think a good store should sell kittens when there are so many at the pound that need homes. The staff does not know much other than saying they will have to ask the owner.

Critter Company is a local owned pet store with everything you need for every type of pet. You can also walk in and view their extensive fish collection including salt and fresh water fish. They also have reptiles,rabbits, gerbils, ferrets, and dogs and cats. Fun for kids to walk around and hold the animals. The staff is very informative and the prices are comparable to larger chain stores. Located in central Bossier, Critter Company is easy to find.

I have only visited Critter Company once when I was in the Area shopping. Never knew exactly where it was located at till a few wks ago. I had called a few Months back to get prices on grooming a Cat. The Lady I talked to seemed very annoyed with my Questions and in my Opinion didn't want to spend the time tp answer them. I was quoted a pretty high amount for bathing and grooming a Cat and with the Attitude of the Person on the other Line I chose not to go there. When I visited the Location I was surprised that the Customer Service was nicer. They do have great Rates on grooming Dogs!
