I finally had the opportunity to enjoy food from the Westside Drive-in about a month ago. I had a reuban meal complete with seasoned fries and a soda drink called a "goober special" with vanilla icecream and peanut butter in ginger ale. I followed this up with one of their famous ice cream potatoes. Needless to say my stomach just about exploded, but what a way to go! The menu is so diverse and has everything from your usual burgers/sandwiches to pasta and spare ribs to even such classic kiddie favorites as a nutterfluffer (peanut butter and marshmallow cream on white bread). It's a popular place so there is almost always a line, but it's well worth the wait.

Westside Drive-in is another one of my food obsessions. I have been known to go there 3 times a week on occasion. They are not your average burger joint because as some people have already mentioned they have a chef there plus they offer foods like spaghetti and prime rib. Now, I cannot say how good those foods are because I always go for a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and an ice cream potato. All three of those items are nothing short of amazing. The burgers are nice sized with lots of good toppings such as pickles, lettuce, and a really good special sauce on them. I definitely recommend Westside and their burgers!

West Side drive In is not like most fast food joints. They have a chef who works there. He is the guy who came up with the icecream potato like they have at the fair. You can order ribs or lots of other meals that have the home cooked touch. They have a great dessert menu and even a treat for Fido. I like to take my kids get an icecream and sit out on the patio.

If you are looking for an old-fashion hamburger or specialty drink, such as a true cherry pepsi or cherry-scotch and soda, West Side is the place to visit. Located on a main street, the drive through is usually always packed, being that it is such a great place to eat. It is run by the well-known Chief Lou…the best in the valley! Ever since I was little, this was our place to eat out every Friday night, cant say enough about it.
