Or every day, if you're the sort who doesn't balk at a $75 tab. Yes, the Cottonwood is a bit pricy, but it's worth it. The atmosphere is very fine and elegant, but manages to avoid being overly pretensious. The interior -- complete with a towering stone fireplace -- is gorgeous. They even have an outdoor patio that looks down onto the Boise River.
And, most importantly, the food is exquisite. The Cottonwood chefs have a philosophy about using only the freshest ingredients in unique recipes (see thier site for a full writeup). The best salmon I've ever had in my life was served here. Reservations are a good idea if you're going on a busy night. You won't be disappointed.

This is my absolute favorite spot in Boise for fine dining! Cottonwood Grille is the premier restaurant here and BOY IS IT GOOD!! Everything I have ever had there is fresh, fresh, fresh, and made to perfection!!
The interior of the restaurant looks like a big, beautiful, multi-million dollar lodge with a huge rock fireplace and lots of great lighting and plants all over the place. The exterior is equally as beautiful because it is right on the river.
Service is SPECTACULAR!! As you can imagine, a restaurant of this caliber has prices to match, so bring your full wallet!! It is definitely worth it though!! Don't miss out on a dining treat!!
