I loved this salon!! High energy, nice staff, AVEDA:) excellent service. I only paid $40 for my haircut and it is amazing so I don't feel the prices are high...only $5 more than I was paying with the last stylists I went to and didn't event measure up to the experience I had a Graeber's!! I will go back again in 6weeks:)

I bought a lot of makeup there ($300) worth and the ladies at the desk were not nice!! They were rude and treated me like I was worth nothing. I will take my services to one of the other great aveda salons from now on. Just because I was wearing sweats does not mean I deserve any less service then the ladies wearing designer labels (which I have but did not wear that day) people are worth more than the labels they wear. They have lost a high paying customer!

I moved to Idaho a year ago and was very sad to leave my great stylist in Washington. I wanted an updated, hip look so went searching for a salon that fit that mold. I finally ended up at Graeber & Company, which is an Aveda salon in Downtown Boise. It is a very large salon with many services available. They have traditional hair and nails service, but also have a day spa that provides skin care, makeup, and massage treatments. The salon is very clean and trendy looking. A style you'd probably see in the trendy New York, big city salons. The mirrors are mounted on large free-standing doors, complete with knobs. All the stylists are dressed professionally and look the part. My stylist did a great job of determining what I wanted and then executing it. She gave me suggestions on what may or may not look good too. Price is decent. It is actually about the same as you would pay going to JCPenney's, but you get the trendy-styles rather than the styles you see from Penney's. I'd definitely recommend this salon to anyone who wants a trendy, modern experience. It really isn't much for people who want a down-home, country style salon where everyone congregates to gossip though.

I think that you can get a good haircut at Graeber's. But you can get a good haircut at lots of other places for cheaper. I have not been impressed with the stylists here. I think this place is overpriced and not any better than salons not downtown. I think the stylist are good but not worth the money. If you like the downtown atmosphere their are other places you can try. Not worth the money.
