Ok, so this is the BEST BBQ in the south! First off the food is so damn good and the music and bar is hopping on the weekends. I have the best service every time I am there by the staff. Oh yea...the owner Orchid is one hot mama her self DAMN!!!!!

I took my sick dog to Coastal for a second opinion. Dr. Parker correctly diagnosed my dog. The staff at Coastal is hands down the best I've encountered. Marthi and Ashley have more compassion than any staff that I have been involved with at other vet's offices. When my husband and I moved to Charlotte and our dog became sick, Dr. Parker took the time to return my call and confirm our new vet was treating our dog in an appropriate manner. Marthi has a heart of gold, and Dr. Parker does, too. Thank you to everyone at Coastal for treating me and my dog Holly like we were the most important. You are the best!

While finalizing building our house in the area, it was recommended to to grab a cold one and meal at Pepper's Porch. My wife and I parked ourselves at the back bar (outside) listening to great music and enjoying two of the specials that evening. (Stuffed Flounder and Seared Tuna on Fried Spinach) Both specials were great along with some really good corn fritters and collards. Beer was ice cold. Service was pleasantly good, even with the waiter attempting to serve the bar area as well as train a new waiter. Sit back enjoy the big oaks, music and good food.

The chefs are Thai, and they really care about what they cook. It was comparable to the best we found in a three week vacation to Thailand. We agreed that it is better than any of the Thai places we frequent in New York, our hometown.
