As a former student of Harmony I can tell you that it has lost it's charm. They now only care about making money. The former quality teachers have all been replaced by toadies and idiots. If are considering sending your kids here don't, they'll only be miserable. This is truly a sad day because in its day Harmony was truly grand. Those days are now over.

Harmony School is where the people I moved to Bloomington for went to school for the most part. Sending your kids here is basically like having them homeschooled. The classes of 1999 through 2002 turned out a lot of my best friends, and so many other characters with amazing personalities that I didn't really know well. If you're a hippie, environmentalist, liberal, punk, or anyone who doesn't buy into America's culture of bullshit, then this is the school to send your kids to. If you can't afford it there are scholarships available as well.

I think that Harmony school is a very good alternative school. They have a much smaller class size than traditional schools and don't follow the same rigid curriculum that public school do. I know several people that attended Harmony and they are all really cool, bright people who feel they are better for there years there.
