I cant believe there are no comments on this issue, it has been going on in the courts since early 2008 and yet the animals still are suffering here in Aug 2009. What happen to the new animal rights laws, what about the anti-cruelty society. Why is not one agency doing anything to help these poor souls that only search for a loving heart to find them. Some humans are so cruel, I wish these people could feel the same treatment as they give to the animals in their custody. All the testamontials of abuse and still nothing has changed. They still continue to operate, a sin. Pros: WE CAN SAVE A LOT OF ABUSE TO ANIMALS Cons: NO DRAWBACKS

I volunteered at this shelter, and its bad. Volunteers and employees constantly have to bring in food and supplies while the owners hoards more and more animals. Sick animals rot in cages until they die. Feces from dogs, cats, and wild mice are near the food.

The animals here are abused and neglected, deprived of necessary veterinary care, and existing in filthy and overcrowded conditions. Google "Pet Rescue, Bloomingdale" and read the newspaper articles. This horrible place should have been shut down years ago -- don't understand WHY the state of Illinois does not seem to care. I've volunteered there -- all the cats (125+) exist in one very small room, and they all have diarrhea. A friend filled out paperwork to adopt a dog -- the next day it was dead! Help close this hell hole and let the animals be rescued by REAL caring and compassionate shelter organizations!!

This is a great place for animal lovers. This is an animal shelter that rescues pets from dangerous situations and provides them with a home until they find a permanent home. My friend got her dog from this place and it is a great place to go if you are looking to purchase a pet for a small amount of money. They give all dogs their needed shots so you don't have to worry about that.

Pet Rescue is a no-kill animal shelter here in Bloomingdale. That means when they take in a stray or unwanted pet, they take care of it for its entire life. So if you want a new pet, you should consider adopting from Pet Rescue to ease their burden a bit. Or if you just like animals, maybe you can volunteer your time or make a small donation to help keep the shelter running. They really need renovations from what I can see. I hope they can keep the place up and running.
