This shop has been around for a very long time. They carry every single sporting item and the personnel is excellent. Prices are a little high, but everything is top of the line. Parking isn't terribly convenient, but it's worth the effort to stop in.

Books are lesser-known titles and highly specific. If they don’t have something related to your favorite car, they can get it.

Birmingham is lucky to have such a wonderful library. You can access their catalog online and place electronic holds. This is a great way to reserve new releases. You can put a hold on something even before the library gets it. Hot Picks is a separate shelf for separate copies of new releases. You can only check them out for a week but the selection is great. The best part of the library is the DVD collection. Better than Blockbuster and free.

Birmingham is considered the most upscale, manhattan wannabe locations michigan has to offer. If you want to be like manhattan you need ART. Blue Heron Design has art and designs custom solutions (for a lack of a better word) that are all modern and customized. I like the product selection. Be ready to take out a second mortgage on your home before even stepping inside though. If you want to be like manhattan apparently you need to charge like it as well.

The museum complex consists of two houses that have played an important part in Birmingham's History; the John West Hunter house and the Allen House. The houses tell the story of Birmingham from two very different viewpoints. The Allen House is from the early 20th century, while the John West Hunter house is from the early 19th century. The museum has a small staff that is assisted by numerous volunteers and the exhibits change frequently. It is a good place to take the kids on a rainy day, the houses are beautiful and I believe they can even be rented for functions.

But have great selection on paintings. I like everyonce in awhile finding paintings from local paitners who nobody knows about, those who have talent but no means to be visible. I really enjoy them, and Frame Art Galleries has a few. Not many but a few. And those few make me check out the paintings more frequently than i probably should spend there. Because the framing services suck...
