Apparently they are a sheet cake company and really are not aware of the art of cake baking/design. Had a very particular design I wanted for my daughters birthday. All she could say is, "We can make a sheet cake of it". Um, no thanks Savages. I am new to town and they were recommended to me by a friend. I guess I have high standards but when it comes to my daughter and her birthday only the best will do. Savages is definitely not the best. Go to Publix if you want a cute sheet cake. They are better and cheaper.

If you are looking for a great cake, look no further. I have had a few cakes from Savage's, and every one has been fantastic. Decorated beautifully and tastes fantastic. Not only that, they also have some pretty amazing cookies and pastries, too. If you want a nice dessert, and you want it done right, this is the place to go. Consequently, it can be quite busy and I recommend you call ahead if you want something complicated.

I love the food at Savage's. They have great lunch and they also have great cakes. They make some of the most beautiful birthday cakes you have ever seen. There is a long wait sometimes, so be prepared for that. Overall, I think it is usually worth the wait for their cakes and other food items.

The last time I went into Savage's the customer service was horrible. One problem is parking, (there is none). The other problem is the crowds that go in there, usually you have all the filthy rich women who live around there, milling all over the place and every one of them thinks they are more important than anyone else. The people employed there are either high school students (pampered children of the filthy rich, forced to get a job, as a learning experience) who don't care and hardly know how to run the register. The food there is very good, my advice, go after 4:00 on a weekday.

Savages Bakery offers the best baked good and they even have lunch on monday through saturday! They make beautiful wedding cakes and anniversary cakes. They also make really cute birthday cakes. A birthday without Savage's cake is just not a birthday!! I reccomend Savage's to anyone who is looking for that perfect cake for that perfect occassion! You will not be disappointed.

Savage's made my wedding cake about 5 years ago for over 200 people. We had such rave reviews on the cake and therefore have used them ever since. We even used Savage's for my daughter's first birthday party. The cake is sooo moist and they give you a great selection of flavors and decor to choose from. They didn't have much decor to choose from with regards to a kids' cake; however, they took a copy of my daughter's napkins and did a wonderful job! I highly recommend them to all of our friends.
