This is definitely one of the nicest airports I've been to thus far. The great thing about this place is that it's not a large crowded airport (such as the chaotic ATL or the ridiculously sprawling terminals of CLT). Also, their bathrooms are extremely clean and modern (i.e. you don't have to touch anything). Even on a busy day of travel, you won't have to wait in line for very long. I've never had problems here with security taking forever. Whether you're just passing through or you regularly fly out of Birmingham, this is a fabulous airport.

I stayed here during a fall wedding for a friend.
There were literally hundreds of us attending from all over the country. I heard not a single complaint.
Free cocktails and breakfast were nice, but the Sunday morning line was crazy.
The Front Desk was wonderful. You'll have to drive if you need to go downtown, but there's not much in Birmingham you don't have to drive to anyway.
Nice place.

My husband, three children and myself spent four days at this hotel. We absolutely loved every minute of it. The hotel offers many ammenities including a whirlpool indoor/outdoor pool, free breakfast(biscuits and gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage and more). The hotel staff was very nice and the manager went out of his way to make sure we had a nice stay. They even had a reception in the afternoons with free drinks and snacks. This hotel was very kid friendly also. I would love to stay in this hotel again. The price per night could not be beat for the all of the free ammenities we received.
PROS: Whirlpool, Indoor/outdoor pool, comfy matresses & pillows, friendly staff

We stayed there in April and loved the place. The suite was spacious and clean. The restaurant was good. If I had one con I would say they should limit the number of kids allowed in the pool. There were 14 girls celebrating a birthday party there. The sounds of the screams and laughter was deafening there. However, the margaritas in the bar were excellent, and made up for the distress.
Pros: Fast check in, great amenities

I was here for a couple of nights with my family.The Inn was very nice and well maintained. The room had a microwave and refrigerator which was very accomodating. I think this is a good one for the price and would recommend this hotel to anyone who will be visiting the Birmingham area.

What a wonderful boutique hotel, right in the middle of Five Points South! You can walk to great restaurants and bars....that is nice! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay...the suite was fabulous and only $159 per night. The DoubleTree and Courtyard wanted way more than that for a regular room....go figure! Why would we stay there when we got a suite for less? Plus the staff was amazing! A definite for us to be returning and telling all our friends about this place!

i stayed here in 2004 and it was ok but was sort of old- i came back a few days ago and it has been totally redone- i was so supprised and excited. they went up on the price about ten or so dollars but it is still the best place for long stays. my room has two beds microfridge tv ect. for 139$ a week- tell me you can find better- by the way the name is changed- its Usa Economy Lodge.
Pros: very good price- nice room- safe and clean
Cons: no kids allowed- can visit but cant live in room

Great cars at great prices. When my car was involved in an auto accident I needed a replacement auto immediately. I had seen Enterprise commercials so I gave them a call. Within an hour a friendly Enterprise associate drove up in my drive way with exactly the car I had requested. The car was clean, gas tank full and the associate was professional and friendly. After returning the associate to the Enterprise office I was on my way to work. I kept the car for 10 days and never experienced a problem in any way. I had requested a non smoking car and that's what they sent. Returning the car was no problem either the charges were exactly as stated up front. Enterprise will see me again when I need an auto.
