I have been suffering from multiple medical problems and had gone from doctor to doctor. Mostly for fatigue. I went to him because even though he specializes in sleep disorders I had read he also specializes in thyroid.
This is one of the sweetest and kindest doctors I have ever met. He took his time with me and did such an extensive evaluation. All blood work came back fine so we decided to do a sleep disorder test. To my surprise I did have a sleep order which was causing my fatigue. I am on a medication and feeling great!!
I highly recommend Dr. Doekel!

This is an excellent organization that provides psychiatric services throughout the state. As someone who refers to this group, I have found a uniform high standard of care.Care is provided by psychiatrists, psychiatric social workers and psychiatric nurses. Their care is brief solution focused therapy, ie, Tony Soprano couldn't linger aimlessly in this practice without actually getting somewhere--no Dr. Melfis here!

Retina Consultants is the kind of business you hope you never need but are very happy to have when you do. A recent family emergency involving a detached retina sent us to the Eye Foundation Hospital in Birmingham. A surgeon from Retina Consultants, Dr. John Mason, performed the surgery. He not only was able to give us comforting and exact explanation of what he would do, but also told us afterward what he had done, what the prognosis would be, and what steps needed to be further taken. When we needed to call several times during the following weeks, and, in one instance, make a emergency visit, he was always kind and compassionate and able to allay our fears. I would highly recommend Dr. Mason and his staff if eye surgery is ever necessary.

I love this practice! They are currently building a new facility to house both practices together in Trussville. My children have seen Dr. Holt, Dr. Davis, and Dr. Barron (who is our favorite). I have been through so many pediatricians, and have finally found an amazing practice!

I use this vet on an as needed basis; however, he has the cheapest prices in town and is very experienced. He doesn't incorporate an office fee into his prices and so an annual checkup with shots for a dog is around $55 whereas the local vet up the street charges about $80! They don't take appointments and so you could be there a while (typical 15-20 minute wait). The vet isn't a talker and so you're in and out very quickly.

I have been with this doctor for over 10 years and he has been wonderful. His nurses are very quick and courteous in responding to phone calls and answering questions. I sometimes have to wait 30-45 minutes because he tends to fall behind in his appts for whatever reason. He is always friendly and open-minded and will try and help in anyway possible. He follows in his patients beliefs and isn't pushy in any new procedure or old procedure he may favor. Great doc.

Dr. Dudgeon is not only a wonderful doctor, he is a wonderful human being. Caring and thoughtful of your children and family. Never takes lightly even the simplest or craziest of questions or concerns. He goes the extra "10" miles for your childs health and well being. He's so wonderful that we travel 40 minutes out of the way just to see him. I couldn't imagine my children seeing ANY other doctor/group of doctors. All of the doctors at Greenvale Peds. are highly qualified and brilliant. The well child clinic is awesome and completely separate from the main clinic and they are open on the weekends to see your sick child. You can never go wrong by picking Greenvale Pediatrics.
