I have been wearing a sew in for quite some time now,and I am a client of Monicas and I have not been party to "these so called customer service flaws." I can only comment on what I have witnessed and that is a person who knows her craft and tries her hardest to accomadate her clients. What I have learned about a weave is it is just that, A WEAVE!!So for a weave to look as natural as possible takes skill and definitly some "tweaking". What you are trusting is that your stylist is able to tweak it so that it is georgeous. I personally have been upset with Monica at times because she is hard to get in contact with...however I have never had her go against her product or her word...Her hair is the best out there...I am stubborn and demanding as I am sure most of her clients are, but I have never been dissatisfied with my product..that is what counts..so I ask people to do their research as I have..I have used other hair in the past and there is just no match.. Pros: best hair ever Cons: hard to get in contact with...but I have never been ignored.

I agree with WWJD1990 and CSmobileuser. My experience at Divas was not good. I went to this shop in March and I must say, I thought I had mad a mistake, because the pictures on her website are misleading. I went to Monica for a full head sew in...I scheduled my appointment two ways 1)via her email and 2) over the phone with her personally. Each time I specified that I wanted 10' hair. On the day of my appointment she had 14' hair. After she was done with my hair, I was not happy. I did not like the style, the braids were too tight it was not good. After about a month or so, I went back for a scalp treatment, shampoo, cut and style. Had I known that she would take conditioner and dab it onto my scalp in between a few braids, I would have done it myself! And for my cut...she took her shears, and cut in a straight line using my back as a guide...not even cutting it into the style that I had asked for which was a layered bob. Her talk is CHEAP because Monica does not deliver on what she says. Pros: None Cons: Alot

Mind you I traveled from another state. I have been trying to contact her for five months about refunding my money or sending me the hair that I have purchased. She has been dodging me at all cost. Hi, it's me again. I just wanted to let you guys know that I had my court date on 3/10/2009. The Judge ruled in my favor, as I knew he would. The owner is now legally liable to pay me my money back plus the cost of court. Her attorney wrote saying she wanted to pay me $100.00 a month for six months. This is ridiculous coming from a woman who claims to make between $100,000-150,000 a year. I have not heard anything else from her or her attorney and have not recieved any money. This GOD "fearing" woman came to court and lied before GOD and now has not paid her debt. I will get my money. The GOD that I serve has assured that. Just wanted to let you all know that. Again, please do your research and get everything in writing when making an enormous purchase as this. It protects all parties involved, but I would not reccommend diva lace wigs and salond or monica jordan to anyone. Just like with anything sometimes the product provided is faulty and people have to be willing to admit that. This person should not be used. The product was horrible and the customer service the same. Be careful!!!!!! I also wanted to mention that the owner stated in court to the Judge the lace wig I purchased being worn everyday would only last 6 weeks. This wig cost $600.00 Even if someone purchased two wigs @ $1200, they would only last 3 months according to her statement. I would not have spent that type of money for something that would only last a month and a half. Her contract and care instructions state they will last up to a year. So, please do your homework when about to make a purchase of this magnitude!! Pros: NON Cons: CUSTOMER SERVICE & HONESTY

I wont go into detail concerning my situation but I was not happy with the service I received..She was awful about answering her phone or even returning phone calls.. This is bad service If you place your cell phone number on the front of your shop door and online...you should be willing to answer sometimes....to a potienial customer this is a no-no. and Just because your voice mail says" If I dont call you back honey I apologize" you are telling people there is a 99% chance you wont answer. When I give someone $285.00 of my hard earned money I deserve better than what I got....You should not have to hound someone to get service or your money back....I was not pleased with Monica at all and one thing is for certain... I dont care what you are selling or what kind of service your provide....WORD OF MOUTH IS THE BACKBONE OF ANY BUSINESS..... I am sorry to say that I will not refer anyone there... Side Note: After reading the other posts I found it very odd that someone who comment on another persons experiance at Diva Lace..This is a review page..be it good or bad everyone that encounters Monica has the right to tell their story...If you received quality service that is your right to say...If I didnt,I have the right to say also..... I have been going to Monica now for almost a year because I was losing my hair and now almost all my hair has grown back YEA. It is because of her I have a head of full hair. I started with a full lace wig that last about a year. I was going every 2 weeks becuase I really didn't know how to take care of it. And about 6 months I purchase a SECOND UNIT. Now I am wearing a weaving with only about 5 tracks of her very own collection of Virgin Indian Hair. She has always been able to fit me in and always very professional. She has a long extensive clientele and doesn't take any foolishness. I am glad because I have been in salons with bad customer service. If you are looking for great customer service for a HAIR GURU and looking for someone who has Beautiful indian lace wigs or hair Please give her a call. She is the only stylist on top of THE HAIR GAME!! Any questions I can personally stand for her business ethics and service send me an email donnathecpa@gmail. Also remember when clients can have there way and can't get what they want the will trash someones credibility. Take a look at her website and each review and make your decision. I find it very suspicious that instead of just rating Diva Lace Wigs and Salon, that one user would take so much time to insult me. I also find it suspicious my review has been posted since Nov 2008 and only after the owner found out it was posted at the end of January 2009 in which she emailed and threatened me, now she has two rave reviews posted on the same day. Hilarious!! You all should find this very amusing. It's good to know the owner can still take time to talk about me to her other clients but wouldn't address the problem with me. Not every one is going to have the same experience. I'm sure there are some others out there who have been disappointed with Diva Lace Wigs and Salon. They probably didn't know what avenue to take, but I serve a GOD that guides me in the right direction. I tried everything to solve this out of court, but the owner was too busy to deal with it. My day in court is fast approaching and I am so relieved this will be over soon. For the record, I look way better than Beyonce. Glad your hair made you looked mixed. You obviously needed some improvements since people take notice now! LOL The attacks posted on me are HILARIOUS. This woman (I hope) doesn't even know me, nor was she there when I made the 4hour drive only to be disappointed with the treatment I've recieved from this God fearing person. Any fair minded individual will see that post for what it is, MESS. You should speak only on what she did for you, but of course the client doesn't fall far from tree. Know what I mean? I just recently moved to the Birmingham area from Florida. I have special hair care needs, and needed someone who is knowlable in the hair care industry. I did my research before relocating and found Diva Lace Wigs and Hair Salon. When I contacted Ms. Jordan to schedule a consultation, she was very professional and accommodating. When I walked into the salon, I was greeted with a warm and genuine smile. After talkig with Ms. Jordan and weighing all of my options I decided to place an order for a unit. It was the best decision that I have ever made!!! For those of us who have special hair care needs it is very spiritual to find someone who can empathize with our feelings. I told Ms. Jordan of my feelings of not being happy with my looks in the past because of my issues. She reassured me that once I saw the unit and once it was applied my life would change. Being the true skeptic that I am because I have tried everything, I reserved my judgement. Well once the unit arrived and it was applied, all I could do what cry because it has been along time since I felt this good and confident with my looks! It is so natural looking and carefree. I workout and sweat profusely, it has held up very well!!! The true test was when my husband saw me for the first time after the unit was applied, he grabbed me and hugged me for the longest time. He told me that although I have always been beautiful, I was exceptionally beautiful and I had a speacial glow about me that he had not seen in along time! My mom and sister saw me shortly thereafter and started to cry because they know how long I have been searching for someone who could address my needs. Monica Jordan is a person who cares about your needs and she is very professional and takes care of her clients. Monica please keep up the good work and don't stop doing what you do, which is helping to make people feel good about their look and having the confidence that has eluded them for a long time! I've read the statement that one lady from Mississippi wrote and I believe she has the wrong Monica Jordon. Monica did my unit in October of 08 and since then i have had no problem out of it. To the point I go the the store and have people asked me "what am mixed with?" LOL she is great she fits me in at times I know she could be home with her beautiful kids. My unit is great and as far as this lady talking about it's hard for her to get in for an appointment has to be confused. I looked all around Birmingham and found the most perfect person for me. She is treating "my" hair and my unit great. It stays in place for up to four weeks and can go longer. I only go back that soon because I know it's time for a wash a clip. I'm sorry miss you must have seen some pictures of beyonce and thought that's what you were suppose to look like. I'm sorry but she is a stylist and not a magician!!! Beyonce pays thousands for her hair and i'm sorry if you are not on beyonce's pay grade or look level, don't go around expecting to leave a salon looking that way. I don't know if may you just didn't know what you were doing with your unit but, I really think that your comments about Monica were uncalled for and inaccurate. And in all honesty you should call her and say you are sorry!! By the way baby oil does not take the place of olive oil! It will make you glue lose. So, before you go around spreading rumor and expecting to look like Tyra or Beyonce make sure you ask questions before you leave the shop. You know things like "HOW DO I CARE FOR MY UNIT?". I'm sure you may ask those questions when you buy a car or anything of value but, from reading your comments you may not take the time to do that. So, just a bit of advice and time you invest in something ASK A FRIGGIN QUESTION OR TWO! SO TURN THE FINGER AROUND AND POINT AT THE PERSON WHO REALLY SCREWED UP THEIR HAIR/UNIT. Don?t let this stop you from purchasing a unit from any company. Because we are offering a unique service and maybe the only one in Birmingham. We sometimes meet people who this they can take advantage of the business. And try and ruin someone?s name. This must NOT stop and professional classy women; BECAUSE they keep calling making appointments and coming. When you ask GOD for few he always sends more that enough. And anyone who knows and meets me KNOW my heart and my business ethics. And this is not so?. After speaking several times and hoping to handle this in a professional manner the salon has made the decision to handle this matter in court. This client?s only issue was that the unit lace color was incorrect. After attaching the unit looking and taking pictures she was very satisfied and was essential wanting another unit. Being a client of the salon she was offer a wonderful deal for her future unit. This unit is first class but this client is not. She has worn the unit EVERYDAY from the first attachment and does not have another. And anyone who wears unit knows that that is a lot of wear and tear. The salon tried to correct the concern with the first issue and she could not to drive back in to get the service done. She wanted the salon to GIVE her a second unit. We have been to court but this client never showed up. She ask for a extension. 1. She wants the lace corrected on the first unit. 2. 2. $1000 3. Second unit This salon with not be taken advantage of. We have gone back and forth with her I am tired. But WE will not break. And now the wig is shedding after 8 months. REALLY?? I haven?t seen this client in 8 months?
