We bought our Volvo 850 here almost ten years ago. Needless to say the car is great, and so is their service. They gave us a nice price on the floor model. They have a full selection and relatively human salesmen. Martens prices are about average, and you could probably find a better deal if you wished to got to Pennsylvania, etc. Repairs are quick and easy.

They had reseonable rates, and allowed me to leave my car there while I was at work. They did not charge me to leave it there, and the Metro is very close, so it was not a hassle to leave my car there. They called and gave me the break down of the the charges that would be incurred after they look a look at my car. I then had the choice to allow them to make the changes, or pick up my car after work and take it elsewhere. I was happy with the cost of service, but was very happy with the attention thye gave me in explaining everything that was going to be done to my car. They also went through many scenarios with me as to what could be a future problem. They were very helpful!

I have taken all of my cars to this shop for repair and it has saved me lots of money. I don't know much about cars but I can call with the symptoms and my car would be cured. I have referred tons of family and friends and they are satisfied with the service and the turn around time is good. I highly recommend if you need quality and affordable repairs for your car. They will save you time and money!

We have purchased two cars -- and done two trade ins -- with Jim Coleman Toyota in Bethesda. And I try to make sure that I'm well prepared and set the terms of the dealing to my advantage. This dealership has done what I've asked and done the dealing they way I wanted to.
Before I buy, I know exactly what model and trim package I want. I let the salesperson know that I will purchase that car within the next week. I tell them they can bid for the business but they should only quote the final bottomline price -- after all charges, taxes, and even license tags. Then I tell them I will be calling three dealerships -- two in the DC metro area and one 90 miles away. They have one opportunity to quote a price.
In both instances, Coleman either matched or beat the best price that I could get through this approach to putting the pressure on them rather than on me as the buyer.
I have also used Coleman's service department and, on one occassion, the body shop at the Coleman Cadillac dealership next door. I have been satisfied with all the work they've done. However, I don't use them for routine oil changes and such as their prices seem high and they are not THAT convenient for me.

Judy's not understanding that all shops charge by the book rates. If they can do the work faster they make money, & if there's a problem they loose. Those rates compensation for both. It's the way the industry works.
Now, if they caused the problem in the first place, & didn't compensate, that's another story.

This honda dealership has a good number of new and pre-owned vehicles on their inventory. I was looking for pre-owned and I was impressed. They always have a good list of Accord,Civic Odyssey, Accura available. This dealership is really different because they do not Increase the price and label it. They have a price which very well goes with Kellys blue book value. So they are not ready for bargains like other dealershiip. I think they are fair and they also have a internet special which can be found on their website.

it does not matter how minor the repair may be, it will require multiple trips. the service department is nasty. i have had 3 "service reps" LOL in the 2+ years of having my car serviced at chevy chase chevy service department. the service department is run very poorly....at the end of the day just not worth the headaches.
