This site is a joke. Gillece runs the $19.95 ads on tv for one reason. They want to get into your house and sell you something. Do you really think they make money at $19.95. It's a joke. They don't really inspect your furnace. They inspect your wallet. Buyer beware. If it sounds too good to be true it is. The five star posts in this site are plants! more

Gillece 5 Star Reviews are Bogus 5/18/2011

This is the only site where there are good reviews about Gillece. They are obviously plants by Gillece employees. This is how it works with them. They run these $99 ads on tv to get you to call in so they can get into your house. Once you do, they send someone out to sell you services you don't need at high prices. All Gillece people are trained to do this. They aren't in business to help you. They are in business to help themselves to your money! more

I have been a customer of Gillece Plumbing for the past two years. I am very impressed with their customer service, technical knowledge, and expedient service. The technicians that have come out to my home are courteous, and have always explained what their service entails in full easy to comprehend detail. I will continue to call upon Gillece for all of my plumbing, heating, and air conditioning needs. more

Very professional and skilled 4/4/2011

Wow! Your never sure what to expect when you try out a new company. My York furnace stopped working overnight last night, and the guy that I have been using for service for the last 5 years or so went out of business. I did a google search for York and went on the main York website. Gillece was the first one listed so I called around 6:30 this morning. They were very professional taking the call and promised a morning appointment. The service tech arrived around 8:30 and gave me the bad news - 20 yr old furnace should be replaced. I agreed - I already knew it was time but was hoping to make it till next year. I signed for a new 98% efficient furnace this morning and here it is 5 PM and they just finished. The installers were very professional and skilled and I have heat again. As soon as they left, I got a follow up call from the office to make sure that they had done a good job. What a quality company. I am pleasantly surprised and I now have a good company that I know I can count on. more

Courteous and knowledgeable 3/30/2011

Gillece is great. We discovered water damage on our ceiling on Friday night. I called and they sent someone over the next day - Saturday. The plumber was courteous and knowledgeable. He pulled the upstairs toilet, fixed the wax seal and then offered to cut a small hole in our ceiling so we could see the extent of the damage. It ended up being no big deal. I was so relieved. He was even super nice to the kids who were thrilled to see him in action. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. more

Exceptional job 3/14/2011

Had Gillece out to our home in the South Hills last week. The guys did an exceptional job. They were surprisingly neat and pleasant. It's a blessing to have our bathrooms running smooth again. Worth every penny!! more

3 day weekend. 3/1/2011

I called Gillece on a Friday evening before a 3 day weekend. They promptly and courteously answered the phone. I asked if they serviced the Greensburg area and they said yes, they consider all of Western Pennsylvania their service area and would be able to come out to help me that evening. Two plumbers arrived and promptly fixed my break in the lines. They had good attitudes and worked quickly. Gillece came out on an 'emergency' basis that Friday evening and knowing my family would be without running water for the next three days, they could have asked a higher than normal price and I would have had no choice but to pay it. Instead they did not overcharge me or try to put any last minute hidden fees into the bill. I have found an honest plumber and will be recommending them to my friends. I will not hesitate to call them again should I need their assistance. more

Great experience with this company. Good service and reasonable. Called Gillece last Friday to come check our air conditioner. We tried to start our central air for the first time this year and it didn't work. Glad we got this done early, now we are good for the year! more

Honestly, I was impressed and awed by the service that I received from Gillece this week.  When I arranged my appointment, the operator was informative, kind and professional.  Today, I was contacted by a cheerful operator to let me know that my plumber was coming---on the scheduled day and in the window of time provided.  The plumber was professional, helpful, kind and just did a great job.  He didn't pressure me, try to up-sale me, trick me, use fancy words with me, etc. -----he just did a GREAT job.  I will use Gillece in the future and tell everyone about my great experience.  Thank you for your help and to everyone on the team who made my entire experience so wonderful. more

I highly recommend them 1/7/2011

I needed a handicapped bathroom installed after subdividing my commercial retail building. Gillece Plumbing gave us the best price. He located the main line sewer, saw cut the concrete, and routed the drain piping for a new toilet and lavatory. His concrete cut was only 2 feet by 3 feet. He ran the underground and top-out waste and water plumbing in 2 days and called a successful inspection with the City of Pittsburgh. He held up no trades and installed the handicapped finish toilet and lav in about 2 hours. I highly recommend this subcontracting plumbing company for your commercial plumbing needs. more

I am very satisfied with the hard work 1/4/2011

My water heater was ancient and the day only cold water was running I knew it was time to take care of the situation. Gillece came out right away and installed a new one for a much lower price than I was expecting to pay. I am very satisfied with the hard work that was done and recommend this company to anyone. more

We have an older (80+years) but very well kept home. When we called Gillece to fix a clogged sewer, we had a feeling it may need to be replaced, and it did. The treatment we received as far as service and professionalism was fantastic and the job was done right the first time more

Thank-you for a great job 11/3/2010

When I decided to remodel my bathroom, I got seven estimates. Gillece Plumbing inspected the bathroom to see what needed to be done. They gave me a competitive & detailed bid. They were not the cheapest, but I was impressed with their knowledge of the plumbing trade. My new whirlpool bathtub and enlarged shower turned out perfectly. I recommend Gillece to anyone that needs help with their plumbing projects. Thank-you for a great job. more
