Ok...so the place may not be authentically Indian, but man is their food good. They have a pretty extensive menu with lots of curries to choose from. Their style is more paskistan/indian than strictly indian. I think this place used to be another Naan and Curry but maybe they got new owners? I don't know. The service was very friendly and helpful and the food arrived very quickly. I love their milk tea. And if you do get a chance to go there, you really must try their dessert bars. They have some of the most interesting flavors...

This restaurant's food is awesome. Their sauces are so creamy and rich, it's unbelievable. I especially recommend their eggplant and paneer tikka masala. They offer both meaty and vegetarian dishes. The service is good, and the atmosphere is calm in the daytime. The prices are low. The only thing keeping this restaurant from being first-class is the bathrooms. Sometimes they're very dirty. Otherwise, this place is perfect for the Indian-Pakistani food lover.

This place is a hole in the wall on Telegraph Avenue. There isn't much seating, and it's all self serve (water is free and in a fridge in the back for your self-serve needs!). This is why the prices for the usual Indian dishes are very cheap and very reasonable for college students and adults alike. Their naans are very famous, you should try them. They are very fast with your orders, which I like very much-- but they often make mistakes. I often order roti (flat wheat bread), but they often make mistakes and give me naan instead (white flour bread). They are the same price, so I don't mind...but that 's the only real con that I have about this place. Another thing is is that if there is an event in Berkeley, this place gets into a frenzy. It gets VERY busy and you probably cant find a place to sit, unless you sit with some other people at a table. But other than that, this place is great.

Good North Indian cuisine. I started going to the Berkeley restaurant the minute they replaced the old Zona Rosa on Telegraph. It was change for the better. The Chicken Tikka Masala has a strong tandoori flavor and their naan bread is big soft and chewy. The people I go there with say the Palaak Paneer is good to, but I wouldn't know.. don't eat spinach. Anyway, it's the best Indian food near campus or in Elmwood. Might be the only one, but I'd wager if there was another they'd still be the best. Oh, and you'll usually find them playing modern dance club style indian music.. not the sappy Indian musical blah you hear at most other Indian restaurants.
