I'm no expert on Indian food but I went with a whole bunch of my Indian friends, who all said it was pretty authentic. The people working there are very friendly and although the place looks a bit rundown, the Indian music makes it all better. Once you step in, there's a warm, welcoming scent of yummy Indian food! The price is really good. Naan for a dollar! and it's a really good size. In the east bay, you can't find naan like that. They're all really small and at least $1.50. I ordered the chicken tandoori and it was awesome. The flavors are amazing. Adding splashes of lemon juice helped it a lot too. eating it with the naan was wonderful. Just plain naan was satisfactory as the chicken was really flavorful. The spiciness level was amazing too. It had spice but not too much; not so much that i need water after every bite but enough to feel the heat. The samosas were really good too, but they didn't come with sauce. They were a bit spicier than the chicken but it was all good. The lamb shish kebab was more of a sausage and was also spicier like the samosas but it was still amazing. I love Naan N Curry! It's so cute and delicious. I would go back to Berkeley just for naan n curry. :)
Pros: fast service, good prices, yummy food! nom nom nom
Cons: nothing :)

Being an indian and knowing the real taste of indian food Naan and Curry is very mediocre. The Naan is good, but the food is gross. What I ordered was the Tikka Chicken Masala. The Chicken was NOT marinated and grilled plain just like what you can find on typlical salads and seemed to be just thrown in the premade tikka curry once you order the dish cauing no tastiness to the chicken. There was absolutly no flavor. I will Never Go Here Again Especially the Berkley location.

I have never tried anything here that I haven't loved. The Naan is always perfect, never too crispy and their chicken Masala is a staple. I love that they have free chai tea that you can refill whenever you need to-it goes great with anything spicy. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.
Pros: delicious food, free chai, inexpensive, quick service
Cons: none in Los Angeles= lame

I am not an expert in Indian food, but what I got there was really nice and tasty. When you enter the restaurant, you would not believe it is so delicious as there is an atmosphere like in a waiting hall. The cost-benefit relatio is very good, though. No place for romantic dinners, but good with friends.
pros: food, prices
cons: atmosphere, parking
