Saw a review of the NP, Arlyss, and I SO disagree!! She was wonderful and was the only health care provider that I have ever had that took the time and care to really help me to understand my issues with sinus problems. Very good listener - I didn't feel "talked at" at all!! I have also seen Dr. Rothman who I agree is very caring and great at preventive health. I never have to wait other than a few minutes, and have always been able to get an appointment easily - they seem to realize that when people are sick, they need to be cared for. Nice staff, and a comfortable office.

I have been going to this office for many years, but just had an appointment with the NP, Arlyss Anderson for a routine pap smear and GYN exam. She was AMAZING! I have never had anyone really teach me to do a breast exam - she did and had me use a breast model that taught me how a cancer would feel!! She was extremely informative, good listener, and very personable. Her technique for the speculum exam was very comfortable - no pain - and she warmed the sterile speculum! A Bonus! Easy to get an appointment, NO WAIT!! They took me in as I arrived, and very nice and competent receptionist and medical assistant! Great practice --- also very homey old house office, but seems like state of the art medicine.

Small, personal office where a lot of the clients have been going for many, many years. Dr Alfred Rothman is busy but kind. He often has good interns as well. Do NOT get his nurse practitioner if you do not like your doctor talking at you versus with you. Arlen’s bedside manner was neither pleasant nor comfortable, and I was just in there for a follow-up visit.
