Tojo is the japanese version of the soup nazi. if you choose to sit at the bar, your best (and perhaps only) bet is to let Tojo plan your menu. he will ask if you have any allergies or don't like anything in particular and then begin his culinary journey. he will tell you which items you may dip in soy sauce and which items should be eaten as served. he is a character and the photo of him laughing on the website (tojos.com) is perfect. his dishes are amazing and a typical dinner includes a combination of sushi and japanese dishes. i remember black cod served in a crab shell that positively melted in my mouth. if you are taking a weekend in vancouver, splurge on tojo's cuisine. this restaurant is just south (accross the bridge) from vancouver but it doesn't seem like i can enter a vancouver, canada address

Tino's pizza is a good place for pizza because it doesn't taste like a chain pizza joint. The pizza tastes fresher and has better spices than a pizza you would get at a more well known place. What's great about Tino's is the location. It's in Sudden Valley and serves the community well. The staff knows the customers and you almost think you'd find Norm's bar stool in there somewhere. They also deliver, which is the only place that will deliver pizza in Sudden Valley. Even if you're in "town" in Bellingham, it would be worth your while to drive a few extra miles for some delicious pizza. Enjoy!

This may be just too late but i thought I'd share it anyway.
I pass by this little stamp and coin shop (downtown Bellingham) all the time. I've never gone in and frankly i don't know the first thing about collectible stamps and/or coins but I'm always surprised with how busy they are! Usually when I pass by there are 2-3 employees working diligently and 1 or 2 customers. Just my observations from a passer-by.

The pita pit is open super late, and most late nights you find several intoxicated college students in there! There isn't much better choice of something to eat around - and it's fresh and healthy!
At the pita pit, you step up to the counter and order - you can choose several concoctions that are premade, or make up your own. Don't fret if the ready made recipes have something you don't like - you watch them make it and can add or take off what you do/don't like. The prices are great, the food is super yummy and it's fast too!

If you like good food and wonderful views this is for you. We were able to get a seat next to a window which overlooked the Marina and we could have sat there all night it was so beautiful. The food was good as was the service. Medium price and casual dress. Recommend it highly.
