This is a good place to check out from time to time, because you can find a good deal. But you have to look hard. The grocery items are often outdated, so check the expiration date on all items you buy. However, if you can find an item that isn't outdated, then you've found a good deal (most of the time). The chips are priced the same as regular grocery stores, but you can get a box of Equal for only $2, which is a good deal. Bring cash because checks are run through as Debit (and the check is returned to you) and Debit has a fee if it is under $15. It's a good place to good but not for everyday shopping.

I have gone to the museum many times and while I did find it interesting as a kid, I also found that some exhibits did not change as I grew older. The stuffed birds were fascinating, but I expected that as I visited the museum later in life, the exhibits would change, unfortunately the birds were still there. The exhibits on the first floor change regularly and I find the museum enjoyable when I do go to visit. I would recommend visiting once every few years and you won't be disappointed.

There aren't a lot of options in Fairhaven, so this is a good location with a water view that you pay a little more for. Breakfast is complimentary, but the food could be better. It was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Web access is not an additional charge which was nice.

This isn't your typical record store. It is a used record store where you can sometimes find that CD or cassette tape that is out of print. The selection changes daily so keep checking here. They also buy used CD's, DVD's and tapes. It's not the best pay for your items, but if it's not something that you need or use anymore, it's a good place to get a few bucks. The downside is the location. It is on the corner of E. Magnolia street and Railroad Avenues and some undesireable people like to hang out in front of the store. Just ignore them, but I think sometimes they can drive business away. However, it's a one of a kind store so sometimes you have to take the bad to get the good.

Village Books is better than large chain stores because you'll find that it carries books that you may not find at other places. They have a lot of local books and authors and hard to find books. But this place does have a "used books" feel to it. While I don't think they have used books, you won't find a couch to sit on and read a book. You should know what you want and get it. I like that they spotlight local authors and you will find that they host book signings often.

This place is what I would call "rough". Not the people that go there, but the atmosphere and "decor". The walls are graffiti and it has the appearance of being not that clean, though I know it is. Aside from what it looks like, it is a good place to drink a beer and catch a live show. It's a good place for college kids, but if you're looking to go out for a drink with the girls, this is not the place to go.

More
I used Johnson's Flower Shop for my wedding flowers. What I liked was I could go in and tell them what I needed and how much I had to spend and they said they would make what I needed for that amount. They also told me that they could get Calla Lillies in February, when other places could not.
Unfortunately, I had never planned a wedding before and I'm not very artistic with flowers so I wasn't sure what would look good together and I had hoped that when I went to meet with them and told them what I'd like, that they would tell me if that would work or if something else would be better. Instead they took me for exacltly what I said I wanted. If you're looking for a professional opinion, I don't know that you'll get it here.
Also, come the day of my wedding, apparently the flowers that they had ordered had wilted overnight so my bridal bouquet wasn't fresh flowers, but silk flowers and unfortunately I didn't know about this until after my wedding. For the money that I paid for my flowers, either they should have told me it was hard to get the exact flower I wanted, or if they had to use fake flowers when I told them I wanted real flowers, I should have received a credit for them. Even afterwards they said that they hoped that I wouldn't notice that my bouquet wasn't real flowers. Disappointing.

I went and got a facial from Gina green. She gave one of the worst I have ever had. She stood outside the door while I was masking yelling at a co-worker. It was unprofessional and unconformable for me. I told how I felt and she said thats just what happens sometimes and offered nothing more. I had a bad experience a few years before with my hair. I should of learned my lesson the first time
