The location in downtown area is very convenient and easy to access. The best part is having a professional travel agent work on your needs and having that special access and information for cruises and other special travel trips. Although it is not a luxury hotel by far, the accomodations are fairly comfortable and the hotel is pretty nice. Customer service was great, there is an indoor pool and hot tub. I WOULD NOT recommend using this place for a Convention if you are in need of lots of space. Although there are several meeting rooms and a very large ballroom, we could not seem to find enough space for an organization as large as ours.

I too would like to plug the chrysalis inn. As a guy, I don't have extensive experience with day spa's, but I've always felt comfortable at the chrysalis. They have a treatment for guys that I'd really like to try. For me, it's the atmosphere and they've done a great job to make your time there private, relaxing and comfortable.
If I may speak for my wife, she loves to visit there whenever possible and that was her mother's day gift as well.

I've been to the Chrysalis with my wife twice now. The first time was on our honeymoon and then the second was a year later on our anniversary. Both times were excellent. We each got massages from the spa and we both really enjoyed them. They have fabulous rooms with very comfortable beds and a great view of the bay. If you want to indulge yourself with a great spa environment you should give it a try. http://www.thechrysalisinn.com/
