This place is alright. The food was pretty good, but needed more flavor! Overall, it was highly over priced for the quality and quantity of food you receive, and your meal doesn't even come with soup or salad. The food wasn't terrible, but overall, there is much better Italian food to be had in Bellingham.

While in Bellingham on business a group of us explored the Fairhaven section of town. This quaint little harbor side village was wonderful with small shops & very dog friendly. We stumbled upon this great little Italian Restaurant with excellent food and an authentic Italian atmosphere. The food was delicious & the waiter attentive. We had a wonderful meal & a great time exploring the authentic old former Hotel building the restaurant was built in. There were other shops and restaurants also. We had a great time & I personally plan on visiting the area again.

Bellingham is a fun city to explore and the Fairhaven district has a lot to offer. There are some really great shops in this small section of town and Mambo Italiano has some terrific food. Whenever my wife and I stay at the Chrysalis, we like to come here for dinner. Everything we have tried so far has been fabulous and the service has been great. The main restaurant is small but there is an overflow dining area with additional seating. Although, the atmosphere isn't quite the same out in the courtyard so I would recommend getting there early or hanging out in the bar until a table opens up.
