When Dos Padres is given a bad review for dinginess? Dos Padres is one of the most beautifully decorated restaurants I have ever been in. You can spend the evening just looking at the walls. The bar area is small and cozy and beautifully put together, and the bartenders are a joy. The food is as authentic as any you will find in Bellingham, and the cooks are NOT kids, they are experienced. The daughter of the original owner still works there as dining room manager, and is mighty proud of what the new owners have done with her daddy's original restaurant. So, quit your belly-aching, go and have a great dining experience.

A recent fire allowed them to rework and upgrade their interior decor. Despite the set-back they did not lose the most important part of their business. The food continues to be terrific, the margaritas are cold and tall. The wait staff is very friendly and will make your eating outing a very positive experience.

This restaurant is kick-butt every time I've been there! The food is great and the service is excellent. The selection of alcoholic beverages is great too! The margaritas are not that great and don't taste very stiff but they always pour ther shots way taller than they need to. A nice selection of tequilla's too, everything from $3 shots to $30 shots. PROS: Great food every time! Nice staff too. CONS: Decorations could use some work.
