I too would like to plug the chrysalis inn. As a guy, I don't have extensive experience with day spa's, but I've always felt comfortable at the chrysalis. They have a treatment for guys that I'd really like to try. For me, it's the atmosphere and they've done a great job to make your time there private, relaxing and comfortable.
If I may speak for my wife, she loves to visit there whenever possible and that was her mother's day gift as well.

I've been to the Chrysalis with my wife twice now. The first time was on our honeymoon and then the second was a year later on our anniversary. Both times were excellent. We each got massages from the spa and we both really enjoyed them. They have fabulous rooms with very comfortable beds and a great view of the bay. I travel alot with my job and to me a hotel is a hotel is a hotel. They are all pretty much the same and to me they are no maor than a place to sleep while I'm not at home.
The Quality Inn Baron Suites is a decent motel with nice rooms and decent rates. The rooms are clean and that's what I care about most. I don't want to sleep in someone else's filth.
Clean and affordable rooms. And nice clerks at the front desk. Quick check-in.
I paid just over $70 a night for my room.
