I was looking for a local company in Bellingham to deliver a gift basket to my son at his dorm (I live out of state). I called Paper Dreams to see if they could recommend someone. They did not have a recommendation , and although they do not do gift baskes, they assembled an asssortment of candy and fudge and delivered it to my son. They were so pleasant and very reasonable.

I love Belle Flora because they are so easy and willing to work with you! They did the arrangements for my wedding and I was thoroughly pleased. They have fun things in their shop like candles, mirrors, fun furniture, but the flowers, they are divine!
They are a downtown business so parking is sometimes hard to come by, but it's worth the struggle.
They're prices are a bit high compared to other florists around, but if you want high quality, this is the place for you to go!

By the looks from the outside of this store, and the items you see in the window, I expected the prices to be a lot higher than they were. It looks like an expensive store with handmade items that are not affordable, but I was wrong. Good stationary is hard to find in this world of email, but Cresswell Boggs has great cards, paper and stationary. Not only that, but they have jewelry, handmade, that is reasonably priced. I didn't buy anything when I was there, but if I needed a gift, I would probably go here again.

From mass market titles in current events, entertainment and women's interest to a wide array of small press, literary and out of country titles, if it comes out on paper, the Newsstand has it. Okay, so this is a Bellingham favorite for me! They have so much stuff there - upstairs is actually a working drugstore, fill prescriptions, get over the counter medicine etc. but it's so much more. I could spend hours in there!
Upstairs they have cards, lotions and soaps galore, many unique gift items, but the treasures are downstairs.
They have a huge collection of art glass and other things, toys and kitchen supplies downstairs! It's stocked full of so many unique items, you could seriously find most anything there!

This is a wonderful store where you can shop for Christmas all year round. It is mostly ornamnents, but they have a selection of Department 56 houses and other items that are normally found only at Christmas time. The quality is the highest quality ornaments and unique items that you won't find at a regular store. Unfortunately, the store used to be located in Downtown Bellingham and it was 3 times the size that it is now. They had multiple trees decorated from which to choose from, but they have moved and reduced their inventory. It is still the same quality and you will like what you see, it's just a shame it's not as big as it once was.
