Bellingham's first supurb Thai restaurant is now one of several very good Thai cuisines nearby. In addition to the excellent food, the ambiance is fantastic. Owned by a Thai woman who hires only the best cooks and staff. This is authentic and delicious food!

El Rinconcito is barely noticeable located in the middle of a strip mall off Yew Street. However the food and service is excellent. And their Cadillac Marguaritas are awesome!!
They have the best and friendliest service!! It's the best place to go after a game with a group because they don't mind if you hang out and enjoy yourself.
Find them and give them a try, you'll be back!!

I haven't had good egg foo young since I moved away from NYC 30 years ago...this place has the best 'prawns egg foo young' i've ever eaten. I used to order the curry chicken which was hot, sweet and melt in your mouth good chicken. I had to get thru a lot of items on the menu to find these gems. These are two consistantly great dishes.
Oh! and the fried cream chease wonton that comes with the special is delicious.
Why buy a bad footlong Subway for $6 when you can get the lunch special for the same price and it comes with soup, fried wonton, fried rice and your entree.
Right downtown
Pros: Inexpensive, great lunch specials, friendly family

We have been dining at the Colophon for almost 20 years. It has become one of our favorite restaurants in town. The service has always been friendly. They offer a wide variety of soups, sandwiches, salads and more. I love the African Peanut Soup! They also make their own desserts, and have an ice cream counter upstairs. Be sure to try their huge Peanut Butter Pie. It is a great place for casual dining, and having a glass of wine on the back patio in the summer.

My son and I went in here for happy hour. We had a few and some appetizers. Food was good and the atmosphere was good. This is definately a place for the younger generation to hang out in. Although I did think that it was a great place.

The Colophon Cafe is next to a great bookstore in this classical area called Fairhaven. You have to experience the Colophon in the summertime, I'm not sure there is a better place anywhere. Sit out on the patio and watch the kids play in the park. They have great soup and sandwiches, and excellent pie for dessert.
The Colophon can be extremely busy in the summertime and Fairhaven as a whole is just hopping with people. You may have to wait a while for a table outside, but just look around in the bookstore until they have your table ready.
Parking is also difficult to find, be prepared to walk a block or two. Make sure you have a couple hours to spare in this part of town before going to the Colophon.

If you are a lover of french fries/jo jo's, etc..this is your restaurant. Fries are one food that is an abundance at Bobs. Not only are their burgers wonderful, but it is served atop a HUGE pile of fries!
They have a wonderful selection of burgers, not to mention other things. I tend to order their chicken burgers as they are wonderfully drippy and yummy. I also love their french dip and order it topped with cheese.
Their service is always exceptional and they are quick to refill your beverage. They have several locations and each one is just as great as the next.
