Boundary Bay is an excellent local hangout place. they obviously brew their own beer on site. The sampler is the way to go if you don't know what you want, but like beer in general. They bring out a placemat type thing that they set little beers on. the placemat explians what beer it is and waht is in it, how much alcohol etc. You will get drunk or a buzz off of it. The food at bounday bay is awesome! I have ordered several things off the menu and I have never been let down by any of it. My fave's are the BBQ chicken quesidilla and the Thai wrap among others. the atmosphere is great, with art on the walls, live or pre recorded music playing and picnic table and others in the bar part. the restaurant part is not much different, other than better service and a bit quieter. Boundary Bay is a great place to go have a beer or dinner/lunch too!

Great deal on Thursday nights, $2 pitchers of PBR. Lots of cute college girls and friendly staff. This place is packed on Thurs and Fri nights so be prepared! Ride your bike here, there's two bike racks out front, a great way to avoid having to drive home drunk. Plenty of college cuties if that's what you're looking for! :)

I really love both the tea and the food at this tea room. Sadly, they used to be at a different, bigger location, so at times it can get crowded, but it's still worth it. The scones melt in your mouth. Excellent, fresh food and tea.

I have been going to Cruisin for over three years and have always had a wonderful experience. The employees are always friendly and greet me with a smile. I love that they will walk out in the wind and rain to get my order. You guys are the best! Thanks for all the mochas!

Such a nice place to spend the early morning (they open at 7 everyday) or the afternoon (they do close up at six). Good, locally roasted coffee and good people. The restaurant/cafe next door serves great breakfast food too and will bring it to you in the cafe. I never feel rushed here and enjoy the atmosphere of spending a few hours reading, writing, doing email. Tony’s quickly becomes a habit!

The Bean Blossom does a great veggie and turkey sandwich. It's a nice local place to sit down for a few minutes and very kid-friendly -- even a few games on one of the shelves. Free lollipops for the little ones! Good coffee too and wi-fi access. Staff is also friendly and pleasant to be around.

I love cruisin coffee! I have been going there for years and will continue to do so. The employees are wonderful and even know my name and order now. They are always there to greet you with a smile. They will even walk out in the wind and the rain to get your order while your waiting to get to the window so when you get there you just pay and go. This is an awesome coffee spot!!
