We had so much fun at my friends bachelorette party at Poppes. Our large party was no problem for them. Everything was great: the server, the food, the drinks and the music. The manager even took our picture and printed one for the bride-to-be. The martinis are so reasonably priced because you get a huge shaker on the side. Scoping the scene we joked around and picked out potential love interests for all our single friends. And there were a lot of cute guys to choose from. All in all what a great time.

My son and I went in here for happy hour. We had a few and some appetizers. Food was good and the atmosphere was good. This is definately a place for the younger generation to hang out in. Although I did think that it was a great place.

I first found the Royal while attending WWU. Thursdays is their famous 50 cent well drink college night. All drinks are 50 cents from 9-10pm and $1 from 10-11pm. I pretty muched just went there on thursdays because i heard so much about it from people at school and sure enough I saw so many familiar faces. The Royal has an upper floor that is kind of a hang out with a bar and 5 pool tables. The lower floor has a huge bar were the music is bumping. I have found that the hottest girls go on thursday night.

This is a great bar for hanging out in downtown Bellingham. The staff is friendly, and the pitchers of beer are cheap. They've got pool, pull tabs, that golf game- lots of options. Plus, it's a nicely sized space, so it never feels too crowded.

Such a fun place to have a glass of wine and eat wonderful cheese. The young woman who owns the joint is knowledgeable and smart. I really enjoyed my evening here and will go back again and again. Such a nice atmosphere just to talk and be. Also a good place to go alone or take friends.

Wild Buffalo House of Music has live music 6 nights a week. Blues, acoustic folk, rock, jazz, reggae, world music - all of these show up frequently on the stage. They are very active in promoting local musicians, but they also bring in headliners from all over the place. The food is great, the drinks are cheap, there's no smoking (this is still not normal in Washington), and the joint is jumping.

While this is known as a gay bar, it is the best bar in town whether you are gay or straight. For one...it's clean and it doesn't feel slummy and two, it's got great dancing and the people are even better. I have never gone here and NOT had a good time. I actually wish that there were more bars like this one, it is one of a kind. You will have a good time.

The first thing about the Quarterback is that it feels like a guys bar. There is a big screen TV to watch the game on, and many pool tables in which you can puff your feathers in front of the women. Believe it or not, the foods not bad for bar food. But it's a fun place to go with a group of friends and knock back a few brews. Kids are welcome here until 9PM, after that it becomes more of a bar than a restaurant.

This place is what I would call "rough". Not the people that go there, but the atmosphere and "decor". The walls are graffiti and it has the appearance of being not that clean, though I know it is. Aside from what it looks like, it is a good place to drink a beer and catch a live show. It's a good place for college kids, but if you're looking to go out for a drink with the girls, this is not the place to go.
