Stopped in today to see what the Superstore was about. They had a very wide selection of golf equipment and was very well stocked. This is where the greatness of the store ceases. Not once was I asked to be helped, I'm guessing its because I was judged on my appearance. Who could blame them, I have a full sleave tattoo, wore good kahki shorts, sleeveless shirt, not who you would see in a golf shop. Oh yeah, my sweat stained Taylormade R11S hat might have made me more of a hoodlum. I had to approach the front counter, after walking slowly through the entire store looking for the club that I wanted to buy, to get help. That was after I was admiring the really good looking computerized setup to look at swing speed, launch angle, ball speed, very high tech. I watched a gentleman hit some great balls and had at least 3 employees look at me as I was leaning on the fitment counter, not one word to me. This must have been a really good customer they were helping because everyone knew him there and chatted about facebook. It didn't matter that I was looking for help and advice, as far as they were concerned I was nobody. After having to seek help, I decided to try out a new driver to see if it hit like the woods. I am a high handicapper with this being my first real season. I have 60 rounds in this year and will hit 100 by the end of the season. The salesman treated me with the indifference of a child and let me hit the club. He didn't even put the shaft on correctly, maybe thinking I wouldn't notice. Bottom line is, I found the club that was sold out everywhere else I looked at this store. If it wasn't for the fact that I would have to order from my local I wouldn't have bought it from there. Still debating on returning it out of principal. If you don't look like a golfer then don't bother with this store. I got better service at Dick's when I stopped there. Maybe I needed to be one of the good ol boy's. DON'T SHOP HERE UNLESS ITS THE LAST RESORT!!!!
