Our kitchen disposal stopped working, so I decided to ask Jim Dandy Plumbing to come fix it based on the reviews here. Never again. The plumber was supposed show up between 1 - 3pm. At 3:30pm, I decided to call and ask the status. The gal who answered the phone flat out told me she would not call the plumber because it would distract him and only cause further delay. HELLO? I have been waiting 2.5hrs for them to show up. What's the point of giving you my contact number if you don't use it?? When I asked why you set 2hr window if you cannot make it, she replied, “well, things can take longer than expected, and honestly I don't know what is going on because I only come in in the afternoon.” I really don't care who she is or what time she comes in. If she is representing the company, she should act like so. It only takes a minute to call - why can't you stop what you are doing for ONE MINUTE and pickup the phone? They don’t care how long people have been waiting. AT ALL! The plumber finally showed up at 5pm. FIVE pm. He apologized, but he wasn’t terribly sorry. He giggled. My blood was boiling already, so I did not even smile at his small jokes. NOT professional AT ALL. I would NOT recommend them to anyone.

We have used Jim Dandy Plumbing a couple times and were very happy with their service. They do good work and are reliable and professional. Today I needed a plumber right away. They were able to send someone right away and their charge was very reasonable! I would also call them before another plumber.

Based on David R's review I used Jim Dandy Plumbing. The tech they sent (Shawn) was knowledgeable, professional, and provided some good advice. I had them reinstall a toilet, which took about 1 hour as the bolts holding it in place had previously rusted. Price was comparable to other plumbing company estimates.
