More
This will be my second year working with A Masquerade for the murder mystery party that I host annually. I'm returning because the service and quality I and my guests received last year was phenomenal. For example, last year, I needed a slew of costumes for nearly 30 men and women in all shapes and sizes from the 1920s Flapper/Gangster era. Kyra and staff came through with flying colors. My guests and I lined up and tried on pretty much every 1920s outfit in the shop -- and all the while, the staff at A Masquerade kept patience and even got as excited as we were, helping us find just the right touches for our costumes.
Also, because I host the event, I often am in need of certain props. Last year, Kyra rented me some amazing giant peacock feather fans that adorned the walls of the "speakeasy" I was creating. They were stunning. This year, Kyra and I have already been in touch planning what other props I might need to pull off a party with a pirate theme.
Have fun and get excited about your upcoming costume parties and events by going to A Masquerade (www.amasquerade.com). You can begin by searching their website, but definitely go check out all the goodies they have in their shop. You'll be amazed.

All Abercrombie and Fitch stores must only employ people age 19 or younger in both management as well as on the retail floor. Besides Target stores, I don't believe I've shopped at too many other stores where the clerks spend more time flirting with one another while ringing up customer purchases. Their return policy is horrible too; and forget about asking for gift receipts...that is one big challenge for them. "Gift receipts? Hmm...nope. Sorry. Try around Christmas time. That's when we feel like spending the extra register tape to print you one." And will you ever find gift boxes there? Don't hold your breath. "You mean I just bought $300 worth of clothes and you cannot give one box to your customers?" Although the quality of their clothes is decent, you will feel like they frankly don't care if they see your face in their store again. What's on their social calendars is more important.
Pros: Styles are nice
Cons: Too Loud of music in store, too strong of cologne they spray everywhere

Abernathys probably has the largest selection of flying rc plains I've ever seen.. The moment you walk in you see thousand dollar planes hanging from the ceiling with gas engines that could nearly hold a small child! its quite the place if your an air RC enthusiast. They have some boating and RC car stuff as well. they are also very friendly to help you find what you need, and if it doesn't cost much they've on occasionally given me stuff to help my project, like some free surgical tubing for a gas line, and some antenna wire.. they care about helping the local hobbiest so stop by and show a little support!

The puppies here are "ok". Some don't look that healthy and look so sad, but some of them are ok and are very active, happy looking, and healthy. If you are going to go here to get your puppy be careful about the one you choose. I think if you are going to go here make sure that the puppy is very healthy.

Sooner or later, anybody in the Seattle area who does electrical engineering projects ends up at Active Electronics. With such a wide supply of chip packages, from clocks to EEPROMS and beyond, they're sure to have what you want. Like Radio Shack, their price is rather steep compared to what you *could* buy it for.... if you were looking for lots of 100,000. But just like everything you go to Radio Shack for, you're looking for more reasonable quantities, and short of getting factory sample units, shopping at Active Electronics is probably the best way to do it.

More 6 months ago
Tiffany and the staff there were wonderful during my first visit and went out of their way to make the experience comfortable. It was an impromptu shopping trip with my two little girls as I dropped a watch off for service. They helped entertain my girls so I could view a few items. I didn't feel they were condescending and I definitely didn't feel pressured. I'm pretty granola-style wearing Crocs, drive a Volvo stationwagon, and went to UC Santa Cruz. I had been going to AG for years to service watches and I always felt it was personalized and attentive service. I also enjoyed the easy parking and being away from the hustle/bustle of a mall. This was our first purchase there. Tiffany took the time to show me several watches and explain all the fine details. I finally bought my husband a Rolex GMT Master II a week later over the phone while traveling out of town. The gift to last a lifetime for Father's Day and about 20 years of missed gifts. I usually don't buy gifts for my husband because he is quick to buy items he loves. I already knew he had been eyeing several watches online, but I kept putting him off the idea because of impostors etc... Ofcourse it's not an issue at AG. BTW, they went above and beyond with everything including the details of packaging because I had it shipped and with follow up. I do not hesitate to recommend them.
Pros: Surprise, a cabinet of toys to entertain little ones.
Cons: Closed Sunday
