Jones is one of the best BBQ joints in the Bellevue area, mostly because its the only one in the area. It is kind of hard to rate this because there is a lack of BBQ joints around town, but this one is still pretty good. The sauce is nice and tangy and the food is usually cooked very well. I recommend the beef ribs as they are very tasty, but also a little messy. The only problem is that this place is in the middle of a mall, so you have to eat in a food court and not in an actual restaurant. Its pretty cheap though and a good place to good for decent BBQ on the run.

After reading a recommendation in an online newspaper, I made the trek to the Eastside to try out this BBQ. It did not disappoint. They have all the meats you could want and plenty of the standards sides. Simple BBQ without trying to be something BBQ is not supposed to be. The white bread was a nice touch. The portions were nicely sized. I had brisket, pulled pork, ribs, beans, slaw and cornbread with the mild sauce.
If you have a hankering for some good cue and you're on the Eastside, give it a try. Otherwise, plan a few hours and make a trip over. It's worth it.

You wouldn't expect a place like Jone's BBQ to be located in a food court (Jone's also has some stand-alone restaurant locations in Seattle), but there it is, on the East side of the Crossroads Mall Food Court. Offering BBQ classics like chicken, beef brisket, pork, cornbread and sweet potato pie, this is the real deal. Jone's sauce can be ordered mild or hot. It has a slightly sweet taste that complements the meats well. I particularly like the beef brisket sandwich.

OK the locale is so-so (Crossroads food court) but the food is outstanding. The BBQ Pork Sandwich is the standout. Pecan Pie isn't bad either.
