I was there very recently to have dinner. There were two waitresses working but I had to wait for 10 minutes to be told 'Hi'. Plus, that wasn't for me but for a gentleman who came after me. I walked to the sushi bar myself, since they were not paying attention to me. That gentleman was served with a cup of green tea and the menu was provided, while I was sitting with nothing in front of me for another 10 minutes. The waitress finally threw a cup of green tea and a menu book and left with no words. In the mean time, that gentleman started eating salad. I was extremely hungry but had to leave out of anger. Never go to this restaurant if you wish not to be treated like this. Kind Japanese? No way...

Look closely or you will miss the entrance to Kiku Sushi and that would be a very sad thing. A single doorway located immediately beside Uwajimaya in Bellevue will transport you to a world of great Japanese food. The fish is fresh, the rolls are a generous size and the menu is extensive. The prices of the entrees are very reasonable, a big, delicious bowl of Oyako-Don will cost you $7.25. The sushi rolls range in price from $3.50 to $10.00 but the rolls are much bigger than the average roll available in other area restaurants that I have tried. Bigger doesn't mean more rice or mayo or filler, bigger means generous portions of fresh, delicious fish with subtle flavourings added to highlight only.
A Happy Hour menu offers select handrolls for $2.50 each during the Happy Hour that lasts until 6:15 PM. All major credit cards are accepted.
