We were at the restaurant with a party of 11, including 2 kids of 3 years old. After eating food the kids were roaming around our table in an empty restaurant, there were 2 other parties with kids of their own, we were nowhere close. We were treated with comments like "ask the kids to not touch the other tables" and "this is not a private party, so please control your kids". For some reason we lost our epitite after that. 3 of the elder kids went out with the little ones and sat in our van. The staff even had the nerve of asking us after that if the cake should be served out. Obviously we just took our cake and had a good time at home. I've been a regular to this restaurant for the past 11 years. But this was just ridiculous. I would say, my last time there. If you have a family with kids, save yourself the embarrassment from this staff. If you want a classy place there are better restaurants around the area like Cheesecake Factory and McCormick and Schmicks. Pros: Good food Cons: Hard to enjoy with a snobby and rude staff

I hated this dining experience. Several co-workers recommended this restaurant and I was ready to be wowed. Instead I got a plate of food that was so overspiced, I couldn't tell what meat I was eating. It was as if someone who had never eaten Mediterranean food tried to cook what they thought would be characteristic of the region. The server was brisk and the ambiance was slightly gaudy. I felt very cramped in the dining room. I will not be going back. If you want something tasty on the east side, try Alborz in Redmond. They have wonderful food, service and ambiance.

Two things that bothered me at this Restaurant. It was very small, and we were seated right infront of the door, it's the end of January and it was freezing cold everytime someone walked in, which was quite often as it got later into the evening. The family got together for my sister's birthday, it was the 1st timeI've been here to eat. I enjoyed the CHICKEN SHAWARMA, I couldn't believe my eyes when this plate was delivered to me, it was extremely huge! It had the most awesome flavor, I was very happy with my choice, I had leftovers the next day for sure! garlic garlic garlic. You must loves spices & good food. :) Pros: food, service, parking Cons: draft from the door, big portions

I was exited when my husband invited me for a long awaited night out to this place. After difficult parking we waited for about 3O min in the street for our table. We were seated to a table and waited a long time for our food. The dish consisted mainly of yellow rice, not propely cleaned tomatoes and a meat so tough to cut that I had to send it back to the kitchen. They were pretty nice about it and gave me a new plate. However, still not easy to cut and not easy to eat. To boot, the watery, low grade glass of red wine that was served in a water glass was charged at $6. The dish did not have any authentic flavors that I was looking forward to. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Cons: poor quality food, overpriced, long wait

It has been a week since my first experience at The Mediterranean Kitchen in Bellevue and I'm still thinking about it. The food was incredible, unbelievable and extremely memorable! The food exploded in flavor in my mouth, the service was wonderful and the prices very fair. I highly recommend this restaurant and cannot wait until I'm back in the area and can go again. WOW!

Not authentic at all..if this was based in a Middle Eastern country ii would have gone out of bussines in no time. ALl i could taste was garlic, garlic and garlic. The price was too high too. I'm sure that the people who prepare the food aren't Middle Easterns and never tasted a real Middle Eastern food before. Even a simple dish like falafel was anything but a true falafel.I can make better ones at home LOL. The original thing is much better! believe me!! Pros: good service Cons: Not really a Middle eastern food, very small and crowded place

When i was in college i worked at fine dining restaurants. I remember how hard it was multitasking, remembering orders , dropping hot food to tables , and getting drinks etc... I admire the staff here for their hard work. I have been in when it was super busy and i have been in when it was not "in your face busy", and i always get the same great service. Obviously I have been in several times. I always see the same servers and staff, to me that shows a lot for the establishment here . The people who worked here have been here for years. They are knowledgeable and friendly . It shows me that they enjoy their job , it shows me that they take pride in their job, and mostly it shows me they love their job. First off it's clear that the service is excellent but that's not why i decided to write this review. THE FOOD IS AMAZING!! Every time i go in i always promise myself I am going to try other dishes. I do every once in a while but I am just hooked on the chicken Shish Twook ,and I am just hooked on the shawramma's, and i just love the Farmers dish (pardon the bad spelling on the food ha-ha). The Mediterranean Kitchen has earned my respect and i will continue to go there forever with out a doubt in my mind. I have seen the staff go out of their way for myself and their guest . Now i thought in return i would "go out of my way" and write a truthful and honest review for the Mediterranean Kitchen!! Pros: Great service and amazing food Cons: Only one location

The food is very good and I would say quite unique. The staff is courteous for most, and the service is good. The only thing that I dont like about this place is how they handle reservations. They dont take reservations for small groups, who have to wait out in the cold in front of a hair salon. This really spoils the experience. Pros: food, service Cons: bad reservation system, small in size

I've been to Mediterranean Kitchen a few times before and the food has been great. This time I went there I got there pretty late, about a half an hour before they closed. I was told to order in the next five minutes or I wouldn't be served. After 5 minutes of placing the order and after ingesting the soup, we were told there was no rice and they would use salad instead. The food they then brought out was horrible, rice is generally served to balance the sourness of the curd, garlic and onion but there was none. I am now suffering from the worst stomach ache while I write this review. I'm obviously not going back.
