I'm a big sushi fan, and I've been to sushiland many times, as well as other "real" sushi places. I've liked sushiland because the quality of the fish is not bad for the price. However, customer service has always been their weak point. This las time was the worst I've ever been treated. So bad so that I'm never going back. We went there with a group of 6, and it was very crowded, so we agreed to sit in separate sections of 4 and 2. A few plates in, 2 seats next to the group of 4 opened up. Seeing as how it would be a straight swap, the 2-person group asked if they could move to the new spots. However, the "management" aka the guy at the register refused our request, saying it would be "inefficient" for them because they were so busy. Not happy, we let it slide, but as we were paying the bill we let it be known that we could not say what was so "inefficent" about letting people move. Instead of apologizing or just saying sorry, the "management" proceeded to dress us down by saying that our request would have caused them to lose business because they would have to wipe down 2 extra seats, and that we were out of line for making the request because we had "wanted" to be in separate groups. We left it at that, but the reasoning was so outrageous, that they just lost more business then they gained. Moving and wiping down the 2 "extra" seats would have taken all of 2 minutes. I hope those 2 extra minutes of "business" they made are worth losing 2 customers for good.

Sushiland was the first "conveyor-belt sushi" I had ever had and I must admit, I wasn't disappointed. I am by no means a sushi snob so I can't *really* tell the difference between one really good maki sushi and another. Sushiland sushi is as other tasty sushi out there. There isn't a lot of variety or fancy rolls. This is a great place of a cheap lunch or dinner but the wait might take a while. I think the longest wait I had was about 50 minutes (on a weekend night).

Sushi Land is a great place to get a good, quick sushi fix. I can get in and out of there for less than $15 and make it back to my office in my lunch hour. The line can get long so you just have to get there a bit before the noon or evening dinner rush. I only wish they would stay open past 9pm, it would be a good late night place to eat.

Sushi land has 2 locations, one in Seattle and the other in Bellevue. I personally have to been to the one in Seattle. The Bellevue location is actually located in a alley. It provides different prices of sushi plates on different color of plates. The prices range from $1.00 to $3.50. Fresh sushi at cheap prices. You may also request special hand rolls of all sorts of selections.

Sushi Land is an excellent place to grab some decent sushi for a great price. The conveyor belt and atmosphere are quite basic, but they most definitely get the job done when it comes to feeding the masses. The chefs are very responsive to your requests, and will usually make your request right away once you order it, as well as distributing the rest of the large portion they make to others on the belt so they can try.

The sushi is really good here. It is a conveyor belt restaurant where the sushi goes right past you and you pick what you want. Each plate color has a different price. The HUGE con to this place is that there is ALWAYS a long wait. We have resorted to take out from here and that works out well. The staff are nice but very busy so the service can be slow at times.
